Abstract

Nabila Nurdiana, Representasi Kekerasan Seksual dalam Film “Si Manis Jembatan Ancol”. Skripsi. Jakarta: Program Studi Pendidikan Sosiologi, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2023. Secara garis besar penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Representasi Kekerasan Seksual dalam film “Si Manis Jembatan Ancol”. Teori yang digunakan merupakan analisis Semiotika Roland Barthes yang bertujuan untuk mencari makna Denotasi yaitu makna yang paling nyata dari tanda dan Konotasi yaitu esensi objek yang apa adanya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan analisis semiotika melalui pengamatan secara menyeluruh terhadap objek penelitian setiap adegan film Si Manis Jembatan Ancol. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu mengidentifikasi gambar dan kalimat/dialog pada setiap cuplikan adegan yang didalamnya terdapat unsur tanda yang menggambarkan kekerasan seksual. Setelah itu data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan model semiotika Roland Barthes dengan dua tahap analisis yaitu deskripsi makna denotatif, identifikasi sistem hubungan tanda dan makna konotatif. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Oktober 2022 hingga februari 2023. Hasil penelitian dapat dilihat dalam bagian awal, konflik dan akhir film, yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat representasi kekerasan seksual. Dampak dari adanya kekerasan seksual yang ditampilkan dalam film tersebut salah satunya yaitu adanya gangguan psikologis terhadap korban. Terdapat tiga jenis representasi kekerasan seksual yang digambarkan pada film, diantaranya yaitu kekerasan fisik, kekerasan simbolik, dan kekerasan psikologis. selain itu juga terdapat relasi gender dalam film Si Manis Jembatan Ancol yaitu pertama istri sebagai aset suami, yang kedua yaitu perempuan sebagai objek. Setelah melakukan penelitian ini, penulis dapat menyimpulkan bahwa tidak semua film merupakan sarana edukatif maka diperlukan pendidikan kritis yang dimiliki oleh para penonton agar dapat bersifat kritis terhadap suatu film. Broadly speaking, this study aims to describe the representation of sexual violence in the film "Si Manis Jembatan Ancol". The theory used is an analysis of Roland Barthes' Semiotics which aims to find the meaning of Denotation, namely the most obvious meaning of the sign and Connotation, namely the essence of the object as it is. The method used in this research is a qualitative method using semiotic analysis through thorough observation of the object of research in each scene of the film “Si Manis Jembatan Ancol”. The data collection technique used was to identify the images and sounds in each scene that contained sign elements depicting sexual violence. After that the collected data were analyzed using Roland Barthes's semiotic model with two stages of analysis, namely the description of denotative meaning, identification of sign relationship systems and connotative meaning. The research was conducted from October 2022 to February 2023. The results of the research can be seen in the beginning, conflict and end of the film, which shows that there is a representation of sexual violence. One of the impacts of the sexual violence shown in the film is the psychological disturbance of the victim. There are three types of representations of sexual violence depicted in films, namely physical violence, symbolic violence, and psychological violence. besides that there is also a gender relation in the film “Si Manis Jembatan Ancol”, the first is wife as the husband's asset, the second is the woman as an object. After doing this research, the writer can conclude that not all films are educational tools, so that critical education is needed by the audience so that they can be a critical of a movie.
