Abstract
Sikap kemandirian peserta didik masih belum maksimal sehingga membuat peserta didik bergantung kepada orang lain dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kedisiplinan belajar menjadi salah satu cara yang dapat meningkatkan kemandirian peserta didik khususnya kelas V sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data yang sahih dan dapat dipercaya secara empiris mengenai hubungan kedisiplinan belajar dengan kemandirian peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri Se-Kecamatan Setiabudi Jakarta Selatan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Mei-Juli 2023 dengan menggunakan analisis kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster random sampling dan mendapati 2 sekolah yaitu SDN Setiabudi 01 Pagi dan SDN Menteng Atas 02 dengan total 102 peserta didik. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji persyaratan analisis dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kedisiplinan belajar dengan kemandirian peserta didik, nilai rhitung = 0,41 dan termasuk pada kategori sedang serta berkontribusi sebesar 16,81%. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah kedisiplinan belajar merupakan salah satu faktor yang memberikan kontribusi terhadap kemandirian peserta didik kelas V SD. ***** The independence attitude of students was not optimal, it made students dependent on others in everyday life. Discipline in learning is one of the factors that can increase the independence of students, especially in grade V elementary school. This study aims to obtain empirically valid and reliable data regarding the Relationship between Learning Discipline and the Independence of Class V Students in Public Elementary Schools in Setiabudi District, South Jakarta. This research was conducted in May-July 2023 using quantitative analysis with correlational methods. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling and found that the sample in this study were fifth grade students at SD Negeri in Setiabudi District, South Jakarta at SDN Setiabudi 01 Pagi and SDN Menteng Atas 02 with a total of 102 students. Data was collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using the requirements analysis test and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between learning discipline and the independence of fifth grade students at SD Negeri Setiabudi District, South Jakarta. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between learning discipline and student independence, the value of count = 0.41 and included in the medium category and contributed 16.81%. This study implies that learning discipline is one of the factors that contribute to the independence of grade V elementary school students.
