Abstract

For years, The Social Security Administrative Agency for Health (BPJS Health Agency), has been under intense scrutiny from various parties, due to a financial deficit. Even though BPJS Health Agency is the only institution established by the Government of Indonesia to manage the Health Insurance program for all people. The situation mentioned above has aroused the interest of researchers to examine how the performance of BPJS Health Agency employees in financial deficit conditions every year and what factors influence their performance? Researchers also analyzed based on age and gender with the MultiGroup Analysis (MGA) method. This study used a quantitative method, with 156 employees as respondents at the Central Office of BPJS Health Agency Jakarta, on September 2021-September 2022. The results are as follows: transformational leadership has a direct positive effect on Good Corporate Governance (GCG); organizational culture has a positive direct effect on GCG, there is a positive direct effect of GCG on employee performance and a positive direct effect of GCG on employee performance with organizational commitment as a moderator. Meanwhile, the results of Multigroup Analysis (MGA) based on age show that there are significant differences in the effect of GCG on the performance of employees aged (≤ 30 years) and those aged (> 30 years). Employees aged (≤ 30 years) have a better understanding of the application of GCG principles, compared to employees aged (> 30 years), and this affects their performance. The results of the MGA analysis based on gender show that there are significant differences in the effect of GCG on the performance of female and male employees, namely female employees understand more about the implementation of GCG than male employees and it has an impact on their performance. Keywords: Transformational Leadership, Organizational Culture, Good Corporate Governance, Organizational Commitment, Employee Performance, Multigroup Analysis (MGA), Age, Gender Abstrak Telah bertahun-tahun lamanya Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial Kesehatan (BPJS Kesehatan) mendapat sorotan tajam dari berbagai pihak, karena mengalami defisit keuangan. Padahal BPJS Kesehatan merupakan satu-satunya lembaga yang didirikan Pemerintah Indonesia untuk mengelola program Jaminan Kesehatan bagi seluruh rakyat. Keadaan tersebut di atas, menimbulkan minat peneliti untuk menelaah bagaimana kinerja karyawan BPJS Kesehatan dalam kondisi defisit keuangan setiap tahun dan faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi kinerja mereka? Peneliti juga menganalisis berdasarkan usia dan jenis kelamin dengan metode Multi Group Analysis (MGA). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, dengan responden 156 karyawan di Kantor Pusat BPJS Kesehatan Jakarta, pada September 2021-September 2022. Hasilnya sebagai berikut: Kepemimpinan Transformasional berpengaruh langsung positif signifikan terhadap Good Corporate Governance (GCG), Budaya Organisasi berpengaruh langsung positif signifikan terhadap GCG, dan GCG berpengaruh langsung positip signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan dan pengaruh langsung positif GCG terhadap Kinerja Karyawan dengan Komitmen Organisasi sebagai variabel moderator. Sedangkan hasil analisis MGA berdasarkan usia menunjukkan, terdapat perbedaan signifikan pengaruh GCG terhadap Kinerja Karyawan yang berusia 30 tahun ke bawah (≤30 thn) dengan mereka yang berusia 30 tahun ke atas (>30thn). Karyawan berusia 30 tahun ke bawah lebih memahami penerapan prinsip-prinsip GCG, dibanding karyawan yang berusia lebih dari 30 tahun, dan hal ini berpengaruh kepada kinerja mereka. Hasil analisis MGA berdasarkan jenis kelamin adalah, terdapat perbedaan signifikan pengaruh GCG terhadap kinerja karyawan perempuan dan laki-laki, yakni karyawan perempuan lebih memahami penerapan GCG dibanding karyawan laki-laki dan berdampak pada kinerja mereka.
