Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang seberapa besar hubungan antara komitmen organisasi dengan disiplin kerja guru SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Cempaka Putih Jakarta Pusat. Variabel yang diteliti adalah komitmen organisasi sebagai variabel bebas (variabel X) dan disiplin kerja sebagai variabel terikat (variabel Y). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dan studi korelasional. Pengumpulan data untuk variabel komitmen organisasi dan disiplin kerja menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis adalah korelasi Product Moment dari Pearson, dengan terlebih dahulu melakukan uji prasyarat yang meliputi uji normalitas dan uji linieritas. Dari hasil uji hipotesis, diperoleh nilai signifikansi korelasi sebesar 0,000. Dimana hasil tersebut lebih kecil daripada 0,05. Sedangkan nilai korelasi (xy) kedua variabel sebesar 0,800. Dari koefisien determinasi, komitmen organisasi memberikan kontribusi sebesar 64,1% terhadap disiplin kerja. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara komitmen organisasi dengan disiplin kerja SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Cempaka Putih Jakarta Pusat. Berdasarkan kesimpulan tersebut dapat dikatakan bahwa semakin kuat komitmen organisasi, maka semakin tinggi pula disiplin kerja.*****This study discusses how big the relationship is between organizational commitment and the work discipline of State Junior High School teachers in Kecamatan Cempaka Putih, Jakarta Pusat.. The variables studied were organizational commitment as the independent variable (variable X) and work discipline as the dependent variable (variable Y). The research method used is a quantitative approach and correlational studies. Data collection for organizational commitment and work discipline variables used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used to test the hypothesis is Product Moment correlation from Pearson, by first carrying out a prerequisite test which includes a normality test and a linearity test. From the results of hypothesis testing, a correlation significance value of 0.000 was obtained. Where the results are smaller than 0.05. While the correlation value (xy) of the two variables is 0.800. From the coefficient of determination, organizational commitment contributes 64.1% to work discipline. The results of this study can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between organizational commitment and work discipline in public junior high schools in Cempaka Putih District, Central Jakarta. Based on these conclusions it can be said that the stronger the organizational commitment, the higher the work discipline.
