Abstract

Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa-siswi di Indonesia masih di kategori kurang, maka diperlukan adanya pembaruan akan model pembelajaran matematika di sekolah. Model pembelajaran kooperatif MURDER dipercaya tepat dan mampu menjadi solusi akan masalah. Penelitian ini menguji apakah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif MURDER berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa SMP Negeri 1 Mandirancan. Metode yang dipakai pada penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain post-test only control group. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling.Instrumen penelitian berupa empat soal uraian yang memuat indikator pemecahan masalah matematis terkait peluang yang telah diuji kevalidan dan reliabilitasnya. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis dengan uji-t, diperoleh thitung=3,184 dan ttabel=1,669 sehingga thitung > ttabel, karena itu H1 diterima pada taraf signifikansi a=0,05. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif MURDER ini memiliki pengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa SMP Negeri 1 Mandirancan. Berdasarkan perhitungan besarnya pengaruh yang diberikan yaitu d=0,8 di mana ini termasuk kategori Large atau besar dengan persentase sebesar 79%. Kata kunci Model pembelajaran kooperatif MURDER, kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis, peluang, SMP. **** The mathematical problem-solving ability of students in Indonesia is still in the category of less, so there is a need for an update on mathematics learning model in schools. The MURDER cooperative learning is believed to be appropriate and able to be a solution to the problem. This study examines whether the application of the MURDER cooperative learning affects students' mathematical problem-solving ability of 1 Junior High School at Mandirancan. The method used in this research is a quasi experiment with a post-test only control group design. The sample was taken using the cluster random sampling technique. The research instrument is in the form of four description questions that contain indicators of mathematical problem-solving related to probability that have been tested for its validity and reliability. Based on hypothesis testing with the t-test, tcount=3.184 and ttable=1.669 where obtained so that tcount > ttable, therefore H1 was accepted at the significance level a=0.05. This shows that MURDER cooperative learning model has an influence on students' mathematical problem-solving ability of 1 Junior High School at Mandirancan. Based on the calculation of the amount of influence given, d=0.8, which is included in the Large category with a percentage of 79%. Keywords.
