Abstract

Abstrak : Ainina Amalia As. 1515618013. “Penilaian Estetika Kombinasi Teknik Itajime Shibori Dengan Teknik Ecoprint (Isicoprint)”. Skripsi, Jakarta : Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Busana, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2023. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat variasi motif baru dengan mengkombinasikan teknik itajime shibori dengan teknik ecoprint yang akan dinilai estetikanya menggunakan teori estetika. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan model penelitian studi kasus. Objek penelitian ini berupa kain yang telah diberikan motif dari kombinasi teknik itajime shibori dengan teknik ecoprint. Subjek penelitian ini adalah pengrajin dan penggiat teknik motif shibori dan ecoprint. Penilaian estetika pada penelitian menggunakan teori estetika menurut Djelantik yang akan menilai kombinasi motif Isicoprint berdasarkan aspek wujud atau rupa pada unsur desain bentuk dan warna yang diterapkan pada kombinasi motif, aspek bobot atau isi yang mengacu pada gagasan atau ide, serta aspek penampilan atau penyajian yang didasarkan pada prinsip desain harmoni dan proporsi yang diterapkan pada kombinasi motif serta sarana atau medianya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi motif Isicoprint telah dilihat dari aspek wujud atau rupa yang didasarkan pada unsur bentuk geomtris dan organik serta warna biru dan hijau yang dihasilkan pada kombinasi motif tidak menghilangkan ciri khas dari itajime shibori dan ecoprint. Sedangkan dari aspek bobot atau isi yang didasarkan pada gagasan atau ide, perpaduan antar motif merupakan sesuatu yang baru dan dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu tren fashion yang terus berkembang kedepannya dengan mengusung konsep sustainable fashion yang mulai ramai diperbincangkan kembali. Penilaian kombinasi motif berdasarkan aspek penampilan atau penyajian yang mengacu pada prinsip desain harmoni dan proporsi serta sarana atau media, dinilai telah sesuai. Dikarenakan perpaduan antar kedua motifnya melengkapi satu sama lain dan proporsi besar kecilnya dipengaruhi oleh ukuran daun yang dipakai di ecoprint dan jumlah lipatan di itajime shibori. This study aims to add a variety of new motifs resulting from a combination of the itajime shibori technique with the ecoprint technique, as well as assessing the aesthetics of the motifs resulting from the combination of the itajime shibori technique with the ecoprint technique based on the Djelantik theory. The method used in this research is a descriptive research method with a case study research model. The object of this research is a cloth that has been given a motif from a combination of the itajime shibori technique with the ecoprint technique. The subjects of this study were craftsmen and activists of the shibori and ecoprint motif techniques. Aesthetic assessment in this research uses aesthetic theory according to Djelantik which will assess the combination of Isicoprint motifs based on aspects of form or form on the design elements of shapes and colors applied to combinations of motifs, aspects of weight or content that refer to ideas or ideas, as well as aspects of appearance or presentation raised on the design principles of harmony and proportion applied to the combination of motifs and their means or media. The results of this study indicate that the combination of Isicoprint motifs has been seen from the aspect of shape or form which is based on elements of geometric and organic shapes and the blue and green colors produced in the combination of motifs do not remove the characteristics of itajime shibori and ecoprint. Meanwhile, from the aspect of weight or content that is based on ideas or ideas, the combination of motifs is something new and can be used as one of the fashion trends that will continue to develop in the future by carrying out the concept of sustainable fashion which is starting to be widely discussed again. Assessment of the combination of motifs based on aspects of appearance or presentation that refers to the design principles of harmony and proportion as well as the means or media, is considered appropriate. This is because the combination of the two motifs complement each other and the proportions are influenced by the size of the leaves used in the ecoprint and the number of folds in itajime shibori.
