Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perubahan pengendalian emosi siswa setelah diberikan internalisasi nilai-nilai filosofi stoikisme. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode quasi eksperimen. Hasil penelitian ini adalah terdapat peningkatan pengendalian emosi pada kelas eksperimen dan kontrol, namun lebih tinggi dan stabil pada kelas eksperimen. Dilihat dari nilai signifikansinya, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada hasil skor pengendalian emosi kelas eksperimen, sedangkan kelas kontrol tidak terdapat perbedaan. Pada proses pembelajaran, kelas kontrol mengetahui emosi harus dikendalikan, namun cenderung belum mengetahui bagaimana caranya. Sedangkan siswa kelas eksperimen, belajar memahami emosi dan mengetahui cara mengendalikannya yang terdapat dalam nilai-nilai praktis filosofi stoikisme. This study aims to determine whether there are changes in students' emotional control after being given internalization of stoic philosophical values. The type of research used is quantitative research with quasi-experimental methods. The result of this study was that there was an increase in emotional control in the experimental and control classes, but higher and more stable in the experimental class. Judging from the significance value, there was a significant difference in the results of the experimental class's emotional control score, while the control class had no difference. In the learning process, the control class knows emotions must be controlled, but tends not to know how. While experimental class students, learn to understand emotions and know how to control them contained in the practical values of stoic philosophy.
