Abstract

Pendidikan karakter sangat penting untuk menanamkan karakter yang baik pada diri seseorang. Karakter yang cocok untuk memecahkan masalah di era disrupsi 4.0 merupakan karakter kepemimpinan yang dapat diterapkan pada siswa melalui jenjang pendidikan. Program Leader in Me (LIM) merupakan salah satu program yang berfungsi untuk membentuk karakter siswa menjadi pemimpin dengan menanamkan nilai-nilai kedisiplinan agar mahasiswa dapat berprestasi dan bersaing di abad 21 dengan salah satu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah ingin mengetahui secara mendalam tentang program Leader in me dalam membentuk karakter kepemimpinan siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Yasporbi I dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi partisipatif, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang diperoleh dari beberapa informan yaitu kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, ketua LIM, siswa, guru, dan orang tua siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah melalui program leader in me yang telah diterapkan di SD Yasporbi I menjadikan siswa menyadari bahwa semua orang adalah pemimpin. Dengan adanya program ini dapat menumbuhkan sikap dan nilai-nilai baik yang sejalan dengan profil pelajar Pancasila dan tentunya dapat bersaing untuk menuju Indonesia maju pada tahun 2045. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, nilai-nilai yang paling dominan terlihat adalah kemandirian, tanggungjawab, disiplin, empati dan komunikatif serta kreatif. Kata Kunci: Program Leader in Me, Pembentukan Karakter, Kepemimpinan Siswa Character education is very important to form good character in a person. The character that is suitable for solving problems in the era of disruption 4.0 is a leadership character that can be applied to students through the education level. The Leader in Me (LIM) program is a program that functions to shape the character of students to become leaders by instilling disciplinary values so that students can excel and compete in the 21st century with one another. The purpose of this research is to find out in depth about the Leader in me program in shaping student leadership character. This research was conducted at SD Yasporbi I using a qualitative research approach using the case study method. Data collection techniques were participatory observation, interviews, and documentation obtained from several informants, namely the principal, vice principal, head of LIM, students, teachers, and parents. The result of this research is that through the leader in me program that has been implemented at SD Yasporbi I make students realize that everyone is a leader. With this program, it can foster good attitudes and values that are in line with the profile of Pancasila students and of course they can compete towards advanced Indonesia in 2045. The most dominant values seen are independence, responsibility, discipline, empathy and communicative and creative . Keywords: Leader in Me Program, Character Building, Student Leadership
