Abstract
The study aims to applicate a big ball game in order to increase the manipulative movement of children aged 6-8 years at SDS Muhammadiyah 4 Jakarta. The formulation of the problem in this study is wether the application of large ball games can increase manipulative movement in children aged 6-8 years at SDS Muhammadiyah 4 Jakarta. The data collection method used in this thesis is the action research methodology, which is carried out in two cycles. The data collection of participants starts from the initial test, the first cycle test, and the second cycle test, from each cycle carried out by children aged 6-8 years at SDS Muhammadiyah 4 Jakarta. Then the increase is calculated to meet the target to be achieved. Based on the results of research into the application of this big ball game, there is an increase in the manipulative motion of children. Starting from the initial test with a percentage of 10% Good, 15% Enough and 75% Less, then the implementation of the first cycle with the results of the percentage of 25% Good, 40% Enough, 35% Less, then proceed to the second cycle because the first cycle did not meet the target want to be achieved, the results of the percentage of cycle II, 80% Good, 15% Enough and 5% Less. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the application of this big ball game is appropriate for children aged 6-8 years. The final results of the application of the big ball game can increase the manipulative movement of children aged 6-8 years at SDS Muhammadiyah 4 Jakarta.
