Abstract

Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa buku cerita bergambar berbasis penguatan karakter percaya diri untuk siswa kelas 1 sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Responden dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari ahli media, ahli bahasa & sastra Indonesia dan ahli materi. Uji coba pengguna yang dilakukan ada 3 tahap, diantaranya uji coba one – to- one, small group dan field test. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi, dan kuesioner. Hasil uji coba pengembangan buku cerita bergambar berbasis penguatan karakter percaya diri bagi siswa kelas 1 sekolah dasar diperoleh 95,83% untuk ahli media, 93,75% untuk ahli materi, 98,33% untuk ahli bahasa Indonesia. Hasil uji coba pengguna 96,66% untuk tahap one-to-one, 95,37% untuk tahap small group, dan 99,35% untuk tahap field test. Buku cerita bergambar berbasis penguatan karakter percaya diri yang dikembangkan termasuk dalam kategori "sangat baik" sehingga layak digunakan sebagai media pengembangan karakter percaya diri untuk siswa kelas I sekolah dasar. ***** This research and development aims to produce products in the form of picture storybooks based on strengthening self-confident characters for grade 1 elementary school students. The method used in this research is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Respondents in this study consisted of media experts, Indonesian language & literature experts and material experts. There were 3 stages of user trials, including one-on-one, small group and field tests. The data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The results of the development trial of illustrated storybooks based on strengthening self-confident characters for grade 1 elementary school students obtained 95.83% for media experts, 93.75% for material experts, 98.33% for Indonesian language experts. The results of the user trial were 96.66% for the one-to-one stage, 95.37% for the small group stage, and 99,35% for the field test stage. Picture storybooks based on strengthening self-confident characters developed are included in the "very good" category so that they are suitable for use as a medium for developing self-confident characters for grade 1 elementary school students.
