Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh dari penerapan dan pemberian reward terhadap hasil belajar sejarah di SMA Negeri 61 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dan desain eksperimen yaitu pretest-posttest control group desain. Populasi penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPS yang terdiri dari enam kelas. Sampel penelitian ini menggunakan dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Instrument yang digunakan berupa tes dengan 40 soal yang diujikan untuk mengukur hasil belajar pada kelas yang diujikan. This happened in one of the schools in Jakarta, namely SMA Negeri 61 East Jakarta. This study used a quantitative approach with experimental methods and experimental design, namely pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this study is class XI social studies consisting of six classes. The sample of this study used two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The instrument used is a test with 40 questions tested to measure learning outcomes in the class tested. Based on calculations, data were obtained on the learning outcomes of experimental classes that used greater rewards with results of 88,722 than class control classes without using rewards with results of 82,944. This showed that the experimental learning outcomes data that used rewards were 5,778 greater than the control class. In addition, the results of hypothesis testing obtained results t_(count)(4.4661) > t_tabel (2.0048), thus it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of rewards on the results of learning history at SMA Negeri 61 East Jakarta.
