Abstract
ABSTRAK Nurhanifah, Upaya Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca Al-Qur’an Pada Siswa SMA Global Islamic School Jakarta Skripsi, Jakarta: Prodi Pendidikan Agama Islam, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Juni 2023. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya Al-Qur’an dalam kehidupan manusia. Sangat penting untuk mengajarkan Al Quran kepada anak-anak sebagai generasi penerus umat. Tanpa peran guru yang memberikan pelajaran kepada siswa setiap hari, maka proses pendidikan tidak akan berjalan dengan baik. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya upaya guru untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur'an pada siswa SMA Global Islamic School Jakrta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mereduksi atau menggabungkan data dari berbagai sumber yang tersedia, menyajikan data dan menguji keabsahan data, serta menarik atau memverifikasi kesimpulan. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh informasi upaya guru dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an pada siswa SMA Global Islamic School adalah melalui perencanaan modul, metode pembelajaran, pengajaran tajwid bertahap, program tahfidz, dan sarana dan prasarana yang memadai. Kata Kunci : Upaya Guru, Kemampuan membaca al-Qur’an ABSTRACT Nurhanifah, Efforts of Islamic Religious Education Teachers in Improving Al-Qur'an Reading Ability in High School Students at Global Islamic School Jakarta Thesis, Jakarta: Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences, Jakarta State University, June 2023. This research is motivated by the importance of the Qur'an in human life. It is very important to teach the Koran to children as the next generation of people. Without the role of the teacher who gives lessons to students every day, the education process will not run well. Therefore, there is a need for teacher efforts to improve the ability to read the Koran in SMA Global Islamic School Jakarta students. The research method used in this study is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out by reducing or combining data from various available sources, presenting data and testing the validity of the data, and drawing or verifying conclusions. From the results of the research, information was obtained that the teacher's efforts to improve the ability to read the Qur'an in Global Islamic School High School students were through module planning, learning methods, gradual recitation teaching, tahfidz program, and adequate facilities and infrastructure.
