Abstract

Mie instan merupakan salah satu makanan yang sangat disukai oleh semua kalangan manusia. Saat ini, mie instan yang beredar di Indonesia tidak hanya dari lokal, melainkan banyak juga dari mancanegara yang kehalalannya dapat dipertanyakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan makanan halal dengan kesadaran memilih mie instan impor. Jenis penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah survei dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Adapun sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa aktif Universitas Negeri Jakarta yang berada pada tahun ajaran ke-4 hingga tahun ajaran ke-8 dan beragama Islam dengan menggunakan teknik propotionate stratified random sampling. Berdasarkan kriteria maka dihasilkan sampel dengan jumlah 100 mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian dari 100 responden menunjukan persentase pengetahuan tentang makanan halal baik sebanyak 26, sementara kesadaran mahasiswa dalam memilih mie instan impor yang baik sebanyak 26. Hasil persamaan regresi sederhana menunjukkan bahwa Y sama dengan 3,77 tambah 3,15X, hal ini berarti bahwa tanpa pengetahuan mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Jakarta sudah memiliki kesadaran sebesar 3,77. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukan terdapat hubungan yang positif antara pengetahuan makanan halal dengan kesadaran memilih mie instan impor rhitung 0,982 lebih besar rtabel 0,197 dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 96,4. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diharapkan mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Jakarta dapat mempertahankan dan meningkatkan pengetahuan makanan halal dan kesadaran memilih mie instan impor. ***** Instant noodles are a highly popular food among various groups of people. Currently, instant noodles available in Indonesia are not only locally produced but also imported from other countries, and their halal status may be questionable. This research aims to identify the relationship between halal food knowledge and awareness in choosing imported instant noodles among students of Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The study adopts a survey method with a cross-sectional approach. The research sample consists of 100 active students of Universitas Negeri Jakarta, ranging from the 4th to 8th academic year, and practicing Islam. Sampling was conducted using the proportional stratified random sampling method. The research findings indicate that 26persen of the 100 students possess a good level of halal food knowledge, and 26 of the students have a sufficient level of awareness when selecting imported instant noodles. The result of the simple regression equation shows that Y 3.77 tambah 3.15X, which means that without prior knowledge, students of Universitas Negeri Jakarta already have awareness of 3.77. Correlation analysis reveals a significant positive relationship between halal food knowledge and awareness in choosing imported instant noodles r-value 0.982 lebih kecil r-table 0.197 with a coefficient of determination of 96,4. Based on the results of this study, it is hoped that students of Universitas Negeri Jakarta will maintain and enhance their knowledge of halal food and awareness in choosing imported instant noodles.
