Abstract

ABSTRAK Bulan Desember 2019 dunia dikejutkan dengan mewabahnya penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh virus, virus ini dikenal dengan virus covid-19. Sebagai upaya mencegah penularan, pemerintah menginstruksikan masyarakat untuk mengkonsumsi bahan pangan yang bergizi. Ikan merupakan sumber protein hewani yang potensial karena mengandung asam amino esensial yang diperlukan tubuh, disamping itu ikan diketahui memiliki banyak manfaat pada kandungan zat gizi yang berfungsi meningkatkan imunitas. Ironisnya konsumsi ikan di Indonesia cukup rendah dibandingkan fakta bahwa Indonesia merupakan negara dengan produksi ikan yang cukup besar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan pendapatan, pengetahuan gizi, dan perilaku konsumsi ikan masyarakat di Kecamatan Cimanggis kota Depok pada saat dan pasca pandemi covid-19. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis deskriptif dan komparatif sebagai teknik pengambilan data. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah metode analisis data primer dan sekunder. Adapun sampel pada penelitian ini adalah masyarakat di kecamatan Cimanggis Kota Depok dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 25 responden. Hasil penelitian dari 25 responden dengan analisis deskriptif terdapat perbedaan pendapatan pada saat covid-19 dengan pasca covid-19. Dilakukan uji paired sample t-test pada aspek pengetahuan gizi dengan hasil tidak terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan gizi saat covid-19 dengan pasca covid-19. Selanjutnya terdapat perbedaan perilaku mengonsumsi ikan pada saat covid-19 dengan pasca pandemi covid-19, dimana perilaku mengonsumsi ikan pada saat covid-19 menunjukkan masyarakat cimanggis mengkonsumsi ikan lebih tinggi dibandingkan pada pasca covid-19. Dengan penelitian ini disarankan adanya penelitian mendalam, seperti meneliti perbedaan pendapatan responden yang mengalami dampak covid-19 dan dampak pasca covid-19 secara khusus atau melakukan penelitian secara kualitatif agar dapat menghasilkan interpretasi penelitian lebih dalam. ABSTRACT In December 2019, the world was shocked by the outbreak of a contagious disease caused by a virus, which became known as the COVID-19 virus. In an effort to prevent transmission, governments instructed the public to consume nutritious food. Fish is a potential source of animal protein as it contains essential amino acids needed by the body. Additionally, fish is known to have many benefits due to its nutritional content that enhances immunity. Ironically, fish consumption in Indonesia is relatively low despite the fact that Indonesia is a country with substantial fish production.This study aims to analyze the differences in income, nutritional knowledge, and fish consumption behavior among the community in the Cimanggis sub-district of Depok city before and after the COVID-19 pandemic. The research adopts a quantitative approach with descriptive and comparative methods as data collection techniques. The research methods involve primary and secondary data analysis. The sample for this study consists of 25 respondents from the community in the Cimanggis sub-district of Depok.The results of the study involving 25 respondents and using descriptive analysis indicate a difference in income before and after COVID-19. Paired sample t-test was conducted on the aspect of nutritional knowledge, showing no significant difference in nutritional knowledge between the periods of COVID-19 and post-COVID-19. Furthermore, differences in fish consumption behavior were observed between the COVID-19 period and the post-pandemic period. During COVID-19, the community in Cimanggis exhibited higher fish consumption behavior compared to the post-COVID-19 period. This research suggests the need for further in-depth investigations, such as studying the income differences among respondents affected by COVID-19 and its aftermath, or conducting qualitative research to provide a deeper interpretation of the findings.
