Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode point counterpoint terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas V SDN Kelurahan Petukangan Utara. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus 2023. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Pretest-Posttest Control Group Desain. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Simple Random Sampling sehingga terpilih secara acak SDN Petukangan Utara 07 Pagi. Kelas V-B sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas V-A sebagai kelas kontrol yang masing-masing berjumlah 31 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Data yang terkumpul kemudian di analisis dengan menggunakan uji-t (t student) dengan taraf signifikan (α) = 0,05. Jika thitung > ttabel, maka hipotesis (H1) diterima. Sebaliknya, jika thitung < ttabel, maka hipotesis (H0) yang akan diterima. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah thitung 4,64 > ttabel 2. Dengan demikian H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Penggunaan metode point counterpoint dapat memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif dalam pembelajaran PPKn siswa kelas V di SDN Kelurahan Petukangan Utara, Jakarta Selatan. ***** This study aims to determine the effect of the point counterpoint method on the creative thingking of civics learning for fifth grade students at SDN Petukangan Utara Village. The research was conducted in August 2023. The method used was an experiment with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design research design. The sampling technique used was Simple Random Sampling so that Petukangan Utara 07 Pagi Elementary School was randomly selected. Class V-B as the experimental class and class V-A as the control class, each of which has 31 students. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The collected data were then analyzed using the t-test (student t) with a significant level (α) = 0.05. If tcount > ttable, then the hypothesis (H1) is accepted. Conversely, if tcount <ttable, then the hypothesis (H0) will be accepted. The results showed that the total tcount was 4.64 > ttable 2. Thus H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected. The use of the point counterpoint method can have a positive influence on the ability to think creatively in Civics learning for fifth grade students at SDN Petukangan Utara Village, South Jakarta.
