Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan persepsi ibu dengan penggunaan bahasa daerah pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Parigi Tengah dengan melibatkan 100 Ibu yang memiliki anak usia 4-6 tahun. Metode dalam penelitian adalah metode survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan lembar penilaian perkembangan anak. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa bahwa (1) Persepsi ibu memiliki hubungan positif dengan kemampuan menyimak anak usia dini pada α = 0,05 diperoleh thitung > ttabel (7,24 > 1,66), (2) Persepsi ibu memiliki hubungan positif dengan kemampuan berbicara anak usia dini pada α = 0,05, diperoleh thitung > ttabel (6,71 > 1,66), (3) Persepsi ibu memiliki hubungan positif dengan kemampuan membaca anak usia dini pada α = 0,05 diperoleh thitung > ttabel (5,32 > 1,66), (4) Persepsi ibu memiliki hubungan positif dengan kemampuan menulis anak usia dini pada α = 0,05 diperoleh thitung > ttabel (5,05 > 1,66). (5) Persepsi ibu memiliki hubungan positif dengan penggunaan bahasa daerah anak usia dini pada α = 0,05 thitung > ttabel (10,5 > 1,66). Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah persepsi ibu berpengaruh pada penggunaan bahasa daerah anak usia dini. Kata Kunci: persepsi ibu dan penggunaan bahasa daerah ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the relationship between a mother's perception and regional language in early childhood. The research was conducted in Parigi Tengah District, involving 100 mothers with children aged 4-6 years. The research method used in this study was a survey with a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques involved the use of questionnaires and child development assessment sheets. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive and inferential statistics. The research findings indicate that (1) Mother's perception has a positive relationship with the listening ability of early childhood at α = 0.05, where the obtained tcount> ttabel (7.24 > 1.66), (2) Mother's perception has a positive relationship with the speaking ability of early childhood at α = 0.05, where the obtained tcount> ttabel (6.71 > 1.66), (3) Mother's perception has a positive relationship with the reading ability of early childhood at α = 0.05, where the obtained tcount> ttabel (5.32 > 1.66), and (4) Mother's perception has a positive relationship with the writing ability of early childhood at α = 0.05, where the obtained tcount> ttabel (5.05 > 1.66). The implication of this research is that a mother's perception influences the use of regional language in early childhood.
