Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah strategi pembelajaran collaborative learning yang akan diterapkan pada online course mata kuliah Pengantar Komunikasi di program studi Teknologi Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah Model Pengembangan Instruksional (MPI). Model Pengembangan Instruksional (MPI) memiliki delapan tahapan, yaitu mengidentifikasi kebutuhan instruksional dan menulis tujuan instruksional umum, melakukan analisis intruksional, mengidentifikasi perilaku dan karakteristik awal peserta didik, menulis tujuan instruksional khusus, menulis tes acuan patokan, mengembangkan strategi instruksional, mengembangkan bahan instruksional, serta menyusun desain dan melaksanakan evaluasi formatif. Evaluasi formatif melibatkan satu ahli desain pembelajaran dan satu ahli desain materi. Hasil uji coba dari ahli desain pembelajaran diperoleh skor 3,44 (sangat baik), dan hasil dari ahli materi diperoleh skor 3,41 (sangat baik). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi collaborative learning yang dikembangkan sudah layak untuk digunakan dengan beberapa perbaikan. ***** This development research aims to produce a collaborative learning strategy that will be implemented in the online course of the Introduction to Communication subject within the Educational Technology program at Jakarta State University. The development model used is the Instructional Development Model (MPI). The Instructional Development Model (MPI) consists of eight stages: identifying instructional needs and writing general instructional objectives, conducting instructional analysis, identifying learners' initial behaviors and characteristics, writing specific instructional objectives, writing benchmark reference tests, developing instructional strategies, developing instructional materials, as well as designing and conducting formative evaluation. Formative evaluation involves one instructional design expert and one content design expert. The trial results from the instructional design expert yielded a score of 3.44 (very good), and the results from the content expert yielded a score of 3.41 (very good). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the developed collaborative learning strategy is suitable for use with some improvements.
