Abstract

Kesulitan belajar peserta didik di sekolah menjadi suatu hambatan pada hasil belajar. Namun, setiap peserta didik memiliki cara berbeda dalam menghadapi suatu masalah sehingga tingkat kemampuan menghadapi masalah memiliki perbedaan. Salah satu kemampuan yang dimiliki adalah kemampuan dalam bertahan dan menyelesaikan masalah yang dinamakan Adversity Quotient (AQ). Adversity quotient adalah instrumen untuk mengukur seberapa baik ketahanan dalam menghadapi suatu masalah secara kuantitatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Adversity Quotient dengan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 51 Jakarta pada bulan Mei tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan studi korelasi. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 103 peserta didik kelas XI MIPA melalui teknik simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik survei dengan menggunakan instrumen Adversity Response Profile (ARP) dan tes tertulis pilihan ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara Adversity Quotient dengan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia. Kemudian, kontribusi Advesity Quotient terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia sebesar 6,3%. ************ Learning difficulties at school become an obstacle to learning results. Each student has a different way of handling a problem thus the level of ability to handle problems is different. One capability is the skill to survive and solve problems called Adversity Quotient. The adversity quotient is an instrument to measure how good resilience is in handling a problem. This research aims to determine the correlation between Adversity Quotient and students' learning achievement on the subject of the human digestive system. The research was implemented at SMA Negeri 51 Jakarta in May of the 2022/2023 academic year. The method is descriptive quantitative with correlational study. The samples used were 103 students in the 11th-grade class through a simple random sampling method. Data was collected through the survey method using Adversity Response Profile (ARP) instrument and multiplechoice test. The research results show that there is a positive relationship between Adversity Quotient and students' learning outcomes on the subject of the human digestive system. Then, the contribution of Adversity Quotient to students' learning outcomes on the subject of the human digestive system is 6.3%.
