Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan Teknik Membaca Ideovisual dalam Penguasaan Kata Sifat pada Siswa Tunarungu Sekolah Dasar Kelas 3A di SLB-B Pangudi Luhur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan model Miles dan Huberman dengan alur reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan data. Sumber penelitian ini ialah pembina guru, guru kelas dan siswa. Hasil penelitian bahwa teknik membaca ideovisual dalam penguasaan kata sifat yang terdiri dari beberapa langkah yaitu: 1) Percakapan dari hati ke hati 2) Visualisasi Percakapan 3) Membaca Ideovisual 4) Guru membuat daftar kata sifat. 5) Merefleksikan Kata Sifat, guru merefleksikan kata sifat dar daftar kata sifat yang sudah dibuat dengan peraga yaitu isyarat, lisan, ekspresi, media gambar, video, coretan gambar guru, dan dengan tulisan di papan tulis menggunakan huruf tegak bersambung. 6) Refleksi Akhir, guru memberikan latihan secara tertulis dan secara lisan. Evaluasi yang dilakukan dalam teknik membaca ideovisual melalui evaluasi proses dan evaluasi hasil. ***** This study aims to describe the implementation of Ideovisual Reading Technique in Mastery of Adjectives for Deaf Students of Primary School Class 3A at SLB-B Pangudi Luhur. This research uses a qualitative approach with the Miles and Huberman model with the flow of data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusions. The sources of this research are teacher coaches, class teachers and students. The results of the study that the ideovisual reading technique in mastering adjectives consists of several steps, namely: 1) Conversation from heart to heart 2) Conversation Visualization 3) Ideovisual Reading 4) The teacher makes a list of adjectives. 5) Reflecting on Adjectives, the teacher reflects on adjectives from the list of adjectives that have been made with props, namely gestures, oral, expressions, image media, videos, teacher's drawing scribbles, and by writing on the blackboard using upright letters. 6) Final Reflection, the teacher gives exercises in writing and orally. Evaluation carried out in ideovisual reading techniques through process evaluation and outcome evaluation.
