Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterampilan sosial siswa kelas IV SD melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe time token arends. Keterampilan sosial adalah kemampuan yang membantu seseorang untuk berinteraksi dengan orang lain secara efektif dan harmonis. Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe time token arends adalah model pembelajaran yang memberikan kesempatan kepada setiap anggota kelompok untuk berkontribusi dalam diskusi dengan menggunakan token atau kupon sebagai alat pengatur waktu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur dengan mengkaji berbagai sumber pustaka yang relevan dengan topik penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe time token arends dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa kelas IV SD dalam pembelajaran IPS, seperti kerjasama, komunikasi, toleransi, empati, dan tanggung jawab. Model pembelajaran ini juga dapat meningkatkan motivasi, partisipasi, dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi bagi guru IPS untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe time token arends dalam pembelajaran IPS di kelas IV SD. Kata kunci: keterampilan sosial, model pembelajaran kooperatif, time token arends, pembelajaran IPS, sekolah dasar. ***** This study aims to analyze the social skills of fourth grade elementary school students through the time token arends type cooperative learning model. Social skills are abilities that help a person to interact with others effectively and harmoniously. Arends time token type cooperative learning model is a learning model that provides opportunities for each group member to contribute to the discussion by using tokens or coupons as a timing tool. This research uses literature study method by reviewing various literature sources relevant to the research topic. The results showed that the cooperative learning model of time token arends type can improve the social skills of fourth grade students in social studies learning, such as cooperation, communication, tolerance, empathy, and responsibility. This learning model can also improve students' motivation, participation, and learning outcomes. This research provides recommendations for social studies teachers to apply the time token arends type cooperative learning model in social studies learning in grade IV.
