Abstract

Self-disclosure secara signifikan mampu memprediksi well-being (β = 0,49; p < 0,001). Self-disclosure diketahui mempengaruhi well-being secara positif, maka semakin tinggi tingkat self-disclosure, semakin tinggi well-being pada fresh graduate pencari kerja pengguna aplikasi LinkedIn. ***** This study aims to determine the effect of self-disclosure to the well-being of jobseekers in Indonesia through the platform LinkedIn. The method used in this study uses a quantitative approach with simple linear regression analysis. The sample in this study amounted to 431 respondents with non-probability sampling with purposive sampling method. The instruments used in this study includes 20 items of Indonesian Well-Being Scale (IWS) with reference to 4 main aspects of well-being and 31 items of Revised Self-Disclosure Scale (RSDS) with reference to 5 main aspects of self-disclosure. The results of this study shows that there is a significant effect between self-disclosure to well-being. The results of the regression analysis shows that both self-disclosure and well-being are able to explain 24,1% variation of well-being (R² = 0,241; F(1,429) = 136,351; p < 0,001). Self-disclosure significantly able to predict well-being (β = 0,49; p < 0,001). Self-disclosure has a positive effect on well-being, the higher the level of self-disclosure, the higher the well-being of fresh graduate jobseekers that users of the LinkedIn platform.
