Abstract

Pada penelitian kali ini dimaksudkan untuk melihat serta mengetahui pengaruh dari kontrol diri terhadap perilaku agresif mengemudi pada pengendara sepeda motor emerging adulthood di DKI Jakarta. Penelitian yang dilakukan ini berdasarkan dengan pendekatan metode penelitian kuantitatif dimana juga menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sebagai sarana pengambilan sampel. Jumlah responden yang berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini mendapatkan sebanyak 134 orang pengendara sepeda motor di Jakarta berusia 18 hingga 25 tahun. Instrumen yang digunakan pada variabel perilaku agresif mengemudi yaitu Aggressive Driving Behavior Scale dan untuk variabel kontrol diri adalah Self Control Scale. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat adanya pengaruh yang signifikan dan berkoefisien regresi negatif antara variabel kontrol diri terhadap variabel perilaku agresif mengemudi pada pengendara sepeda motor di DKI Jakarta. Uji regresi sederhana dilakuka dan mendapat persentase pengaruh yang diberikan oleh kontrol diri sebesar 8,7% terhadap perilaku agresif mengemudi. In this study it was intended to look at and determine the effect of self-control on aggressive driving behavior in emerging adult motorbike riders in DKI Jakarta. This research is based on a quantitative research method approach which also uses a purposive sampling technique as a means of sampling. The number of respondents who participated in this research was 134 motorbike riders in Jakarta aged 18 to 25 years. The instrument used for the aggressive driving behavior variable is the Aggressive Driving Behavior Scale and for the self-control variable is the Self Control Scale. The research results showed that there was a significant influence and a negative regression coefficient between the self-control variable and the aggressive driving behavior of motorcyclists in DKI Jakarta. A simple regression test was carried out and the percentage of influence exerted by self-control was 8.7% on aggressive driving behavior.
