Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat peduli lingkungan peserta didik di SMAN 48 Jakarta. Penelitian ini bertempat di SMAN 48 Jakarta, Kelurahan Pinang Ranti, Kecamatan Makassar, Jakarta Timur. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Bulan Mei 2019-Januari 2020. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Populasinya semua peserta didik SMAN 48 Jakarta berjumlah 862 peserta didik. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah proportionate stratified random sampling. Penentuan jumlah sampel menggunakan rumus slovin dengan taraf error 10%, didapat sampel 90 peserta didik. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa data primer dan sekunder. Pengumpulan data primer dengan cara observasi lapangan, wawancara, dan menyebar kuesioner. Data sekunder diperoleh dari studi literatur, dokumen sekolah, dan hasil penelitian. Data yang dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan indikator usaha hemat energi memperoleh nilai rata-rata tertinggi, sedangkan nilai rata-rata indikator merawat tanaman dan lingkungan menunjukkan nilai terendah. Ketiga jenjang kelas memiliki tingkat peduli lingkungan yang “baik”. Namun, berdasarkan nilai rata-rata kelas X memiliki tingkat peduli lingkungan yang lebih tinggi (baik) dibandingkan kelas XI dan XII. Secara keseluruhan tingkat peduli lingkungan peserta didik di SMAN 48 Jakarta menunjukkan kategori “baik”. Namun, terdapat 5 peserta didik yang memiliki peduli lingkungan “kurang baik”. Faktor penyebab tingkat peduli lingkungan yang “baik” tersebut yaitu adanya pembiasaan penerapan karakter peduli lingkungan di sekolah yang dilakukan sekolah dan guru melalui program Adiwiyata. Sedangkan, faktor penyebab masih adanya peserta didik yang peduli lingkungan “kurang baik” yaitu minimnya komitmen peserta didik untuk peduli lingkungan dan kurangnya kerjasama orang tua dalam menerapkan karakter peduli lingkungan di rumah. Kata Kunci : Peduli Lingkungan, Peserta Didik, Adiwiyata This study aims to determine the level of environmental care for students at SMAN 48 Jakarta. This research was located at SMAN 48 Jakarta, Pinang Ranti Village, Makassar District, East Jakarta. This research was conducted in May 2019January 2020. The method used was quantitative with a survey approach. The population is all students of SMAN 48 Jakarta totaling 862 students. The sampling technique used is proportionate stratified random sampling. Determination of the number of samples using the formula Slovin with an error level of 10%, obtained a sample of 90 students. Data collected in the form of primary and secondary data. Primary data collection by field observation, interviews, and distributing questionnaires. While secondary data were obtained from literature studies, school documents, and research results. The data collected was then analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed the energy saving effort indicator obtained the highest average value, while the average value of caring for plants and the environment showed the lowest value. All three classes have "good" levels of environmental care. However, based on the average value of class X has a higher level of environmental care (good) than class XI and XII. Overall the level of environmental care of students at SMAN 48 Jakarta shows the category of "good". However, there are 5 students who have environmental care "not good". Factors causing the level of environmental care that is "good" is the habit of applying the character of environmental care in schools conducted by schools and teachers through the Adiwiyata program. Meanwhile, the factors causing the existence of students who care about the environment are "not good", namely the lack of commitment of students to care for the environment and the lack of cooperation of parents in applying the character of caring for the environment at home.
