Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between parenting perfectionism and parenting stress in mothers who have children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Jakarta. This research method uses a quantitative approach with correlation analysis. The research sample consisted of 53 mothers who had ASD children aged 6 – 12 years in Jakarta. The instrument used to measure parenting perfectionism is the 12-Multidimensional Perfectionism Parenting Questionnaire (Sarah J. Schoppe-Sullivan, 2012) and to measure parenting stress using the Parenting Stress Construct instrument (Daulay, 2020). The research results based on Pearson Product Moment Correlation analysis show a significant value of 0.604 > 0.05 so that there is no relationship between parenting perfectionism and parenting stress in mothers of ASD children in Jakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan perfeksionis pengasuhan terhadap stres pengasuhan pada ibu yang memiliki anak Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) di Jakarta. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis korelasi. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 53 ibu yang memiliki anak ASD berusia 6 – 12 tahun di Jakarta. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk pengukuran perfeksionis pengasuhan adalah 12-Multidimensional Perfectionism Parenting Questionnaire (Sarah J. Schoppe-Sullivan, 2012) dan pengukuran stres pengasuhan menggunakan instrumen Parenting Stress Construct (Daulay, 2020). Hasil penelitian berdasarkan analisis Pearson Product Moment Correlation menunjukkan nilai signifikan 0.604 > 0.05 sehingga tidak terdapat hubungan perfeksionis pengasuhan terhadap stres pengasuhan pada ibu yang memiliki anak ASD di Jakarta.
