Abstract

Pada proses pembelajaran video YouTube dapat digunakan sebagai bahan ajar. Salah satu contohnya pada mata kuliah Menyimak dan Berbicara Lanjut II Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Mandarin Universitas Negeri Jakarta (PSPBM UNJ). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan minat belajar mahasiswa PSPBM UNJ terhadap bahan ajar berupa video YouTube. Penelitian ini diteliti menggunakan teori Slameto (2010) mengenai minat belajar yang dilihat dari perasaan senang, ketertarikan, penerimaan, dan keterlibatan pemelajar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan metode survei. Responden pada penelitian ini merupakan peserta mata kuliah Menyimak dan Berbicara Lanjut II semester 118 tahun akademik 2022/2023 sejumlah 17 mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa PSPBM UNJ memiliki semangat, kesadaran, keseriusan, dan kemauan belajar. Mahasiswa juga memiliki ketertarikan pada bahan ajar video, mata kuliah, dan situasi belajar. Selain itu, dengan penggunaan video YouTube mahasiswa berkonsentrasi dan nyaman belajar. Namun, meskipun mahasiswa memiliki hasrat belajar, sebagian mahasiswa kurang aktif menyampaikan pendapat dan berdiskusi dengan dosen. ***** In the learning process YouTube videos can be used as teaching materials. One example is in the Advanced Listening and Speaking II course in the Department of Chinese Language Education at State University of Jakarta (PSPBM UNJ). This study aims to describe how the learning interest of PSPBM UNJ students towards teaching materials in the form of YouTube videos. This study was examined using Slameto's theory (2010) regarding interest in learning as seen from feelings of enjoyment, interest, acceptance, and learner engagement. This research is descriptive research with a survey method. The respondents in this study were participants of the Advanced Listening and Speaking II course in the semester 118 of the academic year 2022/2023, totaling 17 students. The results of this study indicate that PSPBM UNJ students have enthusiasm, awareness, seriousness, and willingness to learn. Students also have an interest in videos teaching materials, courses, and learning situation. In addition, with the use of YouTube videos, students able to concentrate on their studies and get comfortability in learning. However, even though students have a desire to learn, some students are less active in expressing their opinions and discussions with the lecturers.
