Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of grit on teacher well-being among teachers in inclusive junior high school. The research approach used is quantitative with the population of teachers who teach in inclusive junior high schools. Sampling technique using convenience sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 127 respondents. The instruments used were Teacher Well-Being Scale (TWBS) designed by Collie et al. (2015) and The Short Grit Scale (Grit-S) designed by Duckworth and Quinn (2009). The statistical analysis test used was a simple regression analysis test. The results of this study indicate the value of Sig. = 000, meaning that there is a significant influence between grit on teacher well-being. The results of this study also show the value of the determinant coefficient (R-Square) of 0.217, meaning that the influence of grit on teacher well-being in inclusive junior high school is 21.7%.
