Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model media pembelajaran bahasa Arab menggunakan Spinning Wheel untuk siswa kelas XI di SMA Muhammadiyah 11 Jakarta. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implement and Evaluate). Metode ADDIE terdiri dari lima tahap, di antaranya: (1) Analisis kebutuhan siswa kelas XI SMA Muhammadiyah 11 Jakarta terhadap media pembelajaran Spinning Wheel, (2) Mendesain media, (3) Pengembangan media dengan melakukan validasi kepada ahli materi pembelajaran dan ahli media, (4) Implementasi media pembelajaran Spinning Wheel secara langsung dan memberikan angket uji coba kepada siswa, (5) Evaluasi media pembelajaran Spinning Wheel dengan memberikan soal latihan kepada siswa kelas XI SMA Muhammadiyah 11 Jakarta. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan terhadap 69 siswa kelas XI SMA Muhammadiyah 11 Jakarta diketahui bahwa 67% siswa merasa kesulitan dalam mempelajari bahasa Arab dan 57% siswa membutuhkan media Spinning Wheel dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Validasi ahli materi pembelajaran memperoleh hasil rata-rata skor 100% dengan kategori “sangat layak” dan ahli media memperoleh hasil rata-rata skor 90% dengan kategori “sangat layak”. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, media pembelajaran Spinning Wheel layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa Arab. ***** This study aims to develop a media model for learning Arabic using a Spinning Wheel for class XI students at Muhammadiyah 11 High School Jakarta. The method used in this study is the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implement and Evaluate). The ADDIE method consists of five stages, including: (1) Need analysis of class XI students of Muhammadiyah 11 High School Jakarta for Spinning Wheel learning media, (2) Designing media, (3) Developing media by validating learning material experts and media experts, (4) Implementation of Spinning Wheel learning media directly and giving trial questionnaires to students, (5) Evaluation of Spinning Wheel learning media by giving practice questions to class XI students of Muhammadiyah 11 High School Jakarta. Based on the results of the needs analysis of 69 class XI students at Muhammadiyah 11 High School Jakarta, it is known that 67% of students find it difficult to learn Arabic and 57% of students need Spinning Wheel media in learning Arabic. The validation of learning material experts obtained an average score of 100% in the "very feasible" category and media experts obtained an average score of 90% in the "very feasible" category. Based on this, the Spinning Wheel learning media is suitable for use in the Arabic language learning process.
