Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kesulitan menulis permulaan siswa hambatan intelektual, bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis permulaan dan pra menulis melalui metode permainan mencari jejak bagi anak hambatan intelektual ringan kelas VI SLB Mini Bakti. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas model Kemmis & Taggart dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes dan observasi. Pelaksanaan tindakkan terselesaikan dalam dua siklus dengan masing-masing siklus berjumlah 6 pertemuan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara membandingkan hasil kemampuan awal siswa dengan hasil akhir siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa mengalami peningkatan, dilihat dari kemampuan menulis permulaan siswa yang sudah mulai bisa menulis huruf acak dan tangan siswa sudah lebih luwes dalam kemampuan pra-menulis. Dibuktikan pula peningkatan nilai tes yang meningkat sesuai harapan setelah diberikan tindakan. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode permainan mencari jejak mampu meningkatkan kemampuan menulis permulaan dan pra menulis siswa. Kata Kunci : Kemampuan Menulis Permulaan, Metode Permainan Mencari Jejak, Hambatan Intektual Ringan *********** This research was motivated by the handwriting difficulties of students with intellectual disabilities, aiming to improve handwriting and pre-writing skills through the tracking game method for children with mild intellectual disabilities in class VI SLB Mini Bakti. The research uses the Kemmis & Taggart model of classroom action research with data collection techniques in the form of tests and observations. Implementation of the action was completed in two cycles with each cycle consisting of 6 meetings. Data analysis was carried out by comparing the results of students' handwriting skills with the results at the end of the cycle. The results of the research show that students have improved, seen from the handwriting abilities of students who are able to write random letters and students' hands are more flexible in pre-writing abilities. It was also proven that the increase in test scores increased according to criteria after being given the action. This shows that the application of the tracing game method can improve students' handwriting and pre-writing skills. Keywords: Handwriting Skills, Tracking Game Method, Mild Intellectual Disabilities
