Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman interpretatif menggunakan strategi graphic organizer pada peserta didik kesulitan belajar kelas V di SDS Pantara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas desain Kurt Lewin melalui empat tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 3 peserta didik kesulitan belajar kelas V di SDS Pantara. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan teknik pengambilan data tes dan non tes, lalu dianalisis dengan membandingkan kemampuan awal dengan kemampuan setelah siklus I, dan kemampuan setelah siklus II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan membaca pemahaman pada peserta didik kesulitan belajar dengan rata-rata 47 poin pada siklus I dan rata-rata 77 poin pada siklus II. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan strategi graphic organizer dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman pada peserta didik kesulitan belajar kelas V di SDS Pantara. ***** This classroom action research aims to improve interpretative reading comprehension skills using the graphic organizer strategy among fifth-grade students facing learning difficulties at Pantara Elementary School. The research employs Kurt Lewin's classroom action research design through four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection conducted over two cycles. The research subjects are three fifth-grade students facing learning difficulties at Pantara Elementary School. Data for this research are collected through test and non-test data collection techniques, then analyzed by comparing the initial abilities with the abilities after the first cycle and the abilities after the second cycle. The research results indicate an improvement in reading comprehension skills among students facing learning difficulties, with an average of 47 points in the first cycle and an average of 77 points in the second cycle. These results suggest that using the graphic organizer strategy can enhance reading comprehension skills among fifth-grade students facing learning difficulties at Pantara Elementary School.
