Abstract

Adaptive performance merupakan salah satu prakondisi agar organisasi pelayanan publik mampu memberikan pelayanan prima dan berkualitas pada era perubahan yang cepat saat ini. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan, mengeksplorasi dan menganalisis faktor kunci yang mempengaruhi adaptive performance pegawai Kementerian Perhubungan di Indonesia. Studi kuantitatif ini melibatkan 375 responden dari pegawai Kemenhub dengan metode survey. Data diolah dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak SEM Amos 26 dan SPSS. Temuan studi menunjukkan bahwa Millon personality tidak memiliki pengaruh langsung positif terhadap self-determined motivation, psychological capital, adaptive performance: Psychological capital memiliki pengaruh langsung positif terhadap self-determined motivation, adaptive performance; Self-determined motivation memiliki pengaruh langsung positif terhadap adaptive performance; Millon personality tidak memiliki pengaruh langsung positif terhadap adaptive performance melalui self-determined motivation; Psychological capital memiliki pengaruh langsung positif terhadap adaptive performance melalui self-determined motivation; Millon personality tidak memiliki pengaruh langsung positif terhadap adaptive performance melalui psychological capital. Temuan ini merefleksikan bahwa kepribadian Millon tidak berpengaruh terhadap adaptive performance, namun yang berpengaruh yaitu psychological capital dan self-determined motivation. Selain itu, dengan ditemukannya flow dapat menjadi dimensi tambahan psychological capital, maka hal ini menjadi novelty pada penelitian ini. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dan berimplikasi kepada beberapa pihak seperti: pimpinan organisasi khususnya Kementerian Perhubungan Indonesia sebagai pengambil keputusan dan kebijakan, serta pegawai. selain itu, penelitian ini juga berkontribusi secara praktis dan teoritis bagi organisasi-organisasi yang memiliki konteks yang sama. **** Adaptive performance is one of the preconditions for public service organizations to be able to provide excellent and quality services in the current era of rapid change. This study aims to describe, explore and analyze the key factors that influence the adaptive performance of Ministry of Transportation employees in Indonesia. This quantitative study involved 375 respondents from Ministry of Transportation employees using a survey method. Data were processed using SEM Amos 26 and SPSS software. The study findings show that Millon personality does not have a positive direct influence on self-determined motivation, psychological capital, adaptive performance: Psychological capital has a positive direct influence on self-determined motivation, adaptive performance; Self-determined motivation has a direct positive influence on adaptive performance; Millon personality does not have a direct positive influence on adaptive performance through selfdetermined motivation; Psychological capital has a direct positive influence on adaptive performance through self-determined motivation; Millon personality does not have a direct positive influence on adaptive performance through psychological capital. These findings reflect that Millon's personality has no influence on adaptive performance, but what does influence it is psychological capital and selfdetermined motivation. Apart from that, the discovery of flow can be an additional dimension of psychological capital, so this is novel in this research. This research contributes to and has implications for several parties such as: organizational leaders, especially the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation as decision and policy makers, as well as employees. Apart from that, this research also contributes practically and theoretically to organizations that have the same context.
