Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengetahui pergeseran makna kesenian dolalak, (2) Mengetahui citra penari Dolalak di front stage dan back Stage serta pemaknaan tersebut menjadi negatif di mata masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik penelitian ini adalah sesepuh Dolalak di Purworejo, penari Dolalak, penyanyi Dolalak, dan masyarakat Purworejo. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa adanya perubahan penari Dolalak dari laki-laki menjadi perempuan karena perempuan juga ingin ikut andil dan kesenian Dolalak Selain itu penari perempuan lebih disukai oleh penonton terutama laki-laki muda. Perempuan dianggap paling luwes menari ketika di atas panggung. Pergeseran makna pada lagu atau lirik Dolalak terjadi karena permintaan pasar atau penonton, dimana lirik atau lagu Dolalak yang pada awalnya berisi tentang sholawatan, pantun dan nasehat untuk penyeberan agama Islam, kemudian pergeseran pada alat musik pengiring tarian pada awalnya musik pengiring tarian juga mempunyai isi atau ditempati oleh roh-roh supaya para Indang mau datang namun sekarang alat musik dolalak sudah jarang sekali ditemukan kesakralannya bahakan saat ini alat musik kesenian Dolalak sudah berkembang pesat karena sudah di dominasi oleh alat musik modern. Lalu pergeseran sakralitas, adanya pergeseran sakralitas ini adalah bergantung pada pawang dimana dalam kesenian Dolalak biasnya mempunyai pawang. Namun keberdaan kesenian dolalak rata-rata sudah tidak mempunyai pawang lagi sehingga dolalak, dalam perjalanannya sudah tidak ada lagi ritual-ritual yang di lakukan melainkan hanya pementasan untuk hiburan. Pengelolaan kesan yang dilakukan oleh penari dolalak semata-mata hanya untuk menghibur dan mendapatkan saweran yaitu dengan cara berdandan cantik dan memakai kostum yang mepet, karena pengelolaan tersebut yang membuat citra penari menjadi negatif di mata masayarakat. This research aims to: (1) know the shifting meaning of the art, (2) Knowing the image of Dolalak dancers on the front stage and back Stage and the meaning of it becomes negative in the eyes of society. This research uses a qualitative approach. This research technique is the elders of Dolalak in Purworejo, Dolalak dancers, Dolalak singers, and Purworejo people. The results of this study showed that there was a change of the dancer Dolalak from male to female because women also want to join and art Dolalak Besides women dancers are more liked by the audience especially young men. Women are considered the most supple dancing when on stage. The shifting meaning of the song or the lyrics of Dolalak occurs because of the market demand or the audience, where the lyrics or song Dolalak which originally contained about the shovisitation, Pantun and advice for the Islam religious dissemination, then the shift in musical instruments Accompaniment dance at first musical accompaniment dances also have content or occupied by spirits so that the Indang want to come but now the instrument Dolalak has rarely found the sacredness of the current art instrument Dolalak is already Developed rapidly because it is already in domination by modern musical instruments. Then the shifting of sakrality, the shift of this conversion is dependent on the charmer where the art of Dolalak has a charmer. But the entertainment of the average Dolalak is no longer a handler until the Dolalak, on its way there are no more rituals are done but only staging for entertainment. The management of the impression done by the dancers are solely to entertain and get the Saweran that is by the way of dress up beautifully and wear a mepet costume, because the management that makes the image of dancers to be negative in the eyes Different.
