Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif quasi experiment nonequivalent control group design. Berdasarkan pra penelitian yang telah peneliti laksanakan, peneliti menemukan bahwa hasil belajar IPS peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP Nuris Jakarta masih di bawah kriteria ketuntasan minimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match terhadap hasil belajar IPS peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Nuris Jakarta. Metode pengambilan data dengan menggunakan instrumen tes yaitu pre-test dan post-test. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar IPS siswa dengan model pembelajaran tipe make a match memiliki rata-rata yang cukup tinggi yaitu 91,89 dan hasil penelitian pada kelas yang menggunakan model pembelajaran ceramah mendapatkan rata-rata 88,00. Berdasarkan hasil uji paired samples t-test diperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) baik pada kelas ekaperimen maupun kelas kontrol adalah sebsar 0,000. Nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match terhadap hasil belajar IPS peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Nuris Jakarta. Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif, Membuat Kecocokan, Hasil Belajar *** This research is a quantitative quasi experimental nonequivalent control group design research. Based on the pre-research that the researchers carried out, the researchers found that the social studies learning outcomes of class VIII students at Nuris Middle School in Jakarta were still below the minimum completeness criteria. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the make a match type cooperative learning model on the social studies learning outcomes of class VIII students at Nuris Middle School, Jakarta. The data collection method uses test instruments, namely pre-test and post-test. The research results showed that the average social studies learning outcomes of students using the make a match type learning model had a fairly high average of 91.89 and research results in classes using the lecture learning model obtained an average of 88.00. Based on the results of the paired samples t-test, the Sig value was obtained. (2-tailed) for both experimental and control classes is 0.000. Sig value. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the make a match type cooperative learning model on the social studies learning outcomes of class VIII students at Nuris Middle School, Jakarta.
