Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan buku saku digital marketing homestay sebagai media edukasi kepada pemilik homestay di Desa Wisata Cisaat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), akan tetapi dalam penelitian ini hanya sampai pada tahap Development. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Wisata Cisaat, Kabupaten Subang, Jawa Barat pada Januari 2023-Januari 2024. Media edukasi buku saku ini dikembangkan dengan materi desa wisata, homestay, digital marketing, dan cara penggunaan media sosial dengan menggunakan aplikasi Canva dalam proses pembuatannya. Pengembangan media buku saku diawali dengan analisis kebutuhan. Setelah menganalisa kebutuhan dilanjutkan ke tahap desain dan dilanjutkan ke tahap pengembangan media buku saku. Kemudian dilakukan uji validasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi. Adapun hasil penilaian buku saku Digital marketing Homestay yang diperoleh dari hasil validasi oleh ahli materi sebesar 4,8 dan oleh ahli media sebesar 4,27 dengan kesimpulan sangat layak untuk diuji cobakan. Sedangkan pada hasil pada uji coba perorangan diperoleh rata-rata skor 4,4 yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak dan pada hasil uji coba kelompok kecil memperoleh hasil sebesar 4,1 yang termasuk dalam kategori layak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa buku saku Digital marketing Homestay ini layak digunakan oleh pemilik homestay sebagai media edukasi digital marketing untuk sarana pemasaran homestay. Dengan adanya pengembangan buku saku Digital marketing Homestay dapat menjadi pedoman pemilik homestay dalam memasarkan homestay secara digital marketing dengan memanfaatkan media sosial agar dapat lebih dikenal oleh calon wisatawan. ***** This research aims to produce a digital homestay marketing pocket book as an educational medium for homestay owners in the Cisaat Tourism Village. The research method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model, but in this research, it only reaches the development stage. This research was carried out in the Cisaat Tourism Village, Subang Regency, West Java, in January 2023–January 2024. This pocket book of educational media was developed with material on tourist villages, homestays, digital marketing, and how to use social media using the Canva application in the creation process. The development of pocket book media begins with a needs analysis. After analyzing the needs, proceed to the design stage and continue to the pocket book media development stage. Then a validation test was carried out by media experts and material experts. The assessment results for the Digital Marketing Homestay pocket book obtained from validation results by material experts were 4.8 and by media experts were 4.27 with the conclusion that it was very suitable for testing. Meanwhile, the results of the individual trials obtained an average score of 4.4 which was included in the very feasible category, and the results of the small group trials obtained a result of 4.1 which was included in the feasible category. This shows that this Homestay Digital Marketing Pocket Book is suitable for use by homestay owners as a digital marketing educational medium for homestay marketing. With the development of the Digital Marketing Homestay Pocket Book, it can be a guide for homestay owners in marketing homestays using digital marketing by utilizing social media so that they can be better known by potential tourists.
