Abstract
Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh dari media pembelajaran peta tematik (peta persebaran kerawanan bencana alam di Indonesia) terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi persebaran bencana alam di Indonesia kelas XI IPS di SMAN 113 Jakarta Timur. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain kuasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan pre-test dan post-test sebagai instrumen penelitian. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan cara purposive sampling. Sampel pada penelitian adalah kelas XI IPS 3 yang menjadi kelas kontrol dan kelas XI IPS 4 menjadi kelas eksperimen yang diberikan perlakuan berbeda, yakni diberikannya media pembelajaran peta tematik. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan tes awal (pre-test) dan tes akhir (post-test). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah uji instrumen penelitian, uji prasyarat analisis data, dan uji analisis data. Instrumen penelitian dalam penelitian bersifat valid dan reliabel, dan hasil data analisis menyatakan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Adapun hasil temuan dari penelitian, yakni nilai signifikansi (Sig.0,002) lebih kecil dari nilai rujukan yakni 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, artinya terdapat pengaruh dari hasil implementasi dan adanya perbedaan antara nilai rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik di kelas eksperimen dengan ratarata di kelas kontrol. Pada kelas eksperimen rata-rata nilai hasil belajar peserta didik sebesar 77,06 sedangkan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 66,71. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran peta tematik dapat berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik di kelas XI IPS SMAN 113 Jakarta Timur pada materi persebaran bencana alam di Indonesia. *********** The research aims to analyze the influence of thematic map learning media (maps depicting the distribution of natural disaster vulnerabilities in Indonesia) on the learning outcomes of students regarding the distribution of natural disasters in Indonesia, specifically in Grade XI IPS at SMAN 113 East Jakarta. The study utilizes a quantitative research method with a quasiexperimental design, employing pre-tests and post-tests as research instruments. The research sample was selected through purposive sampling. The participants include Grade XI IPS 3 as the control group and Grade XI IPS 4 as the experimental group, which receives different treatment, namely the use of thematic map learning media. Data collection involves pre-tests and post-tests, and the data analysis techniques include research instrument testing, data analysis prerequisite testing, and data analysis testing. The research instruments are validated and reliable, and the data analysis results indicate that the data are normally distributed and homogeneous. The research findings reveal that the significance value (Sig. 0.002) is smaller than the reference value of 0.05. Therefore, the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, indicating an influence resulting from the implementation and a difference in the average learning outcomes between the experimental and control groups. In the experimental group, the average learning outcome score is 77.06, while in the control group, it is 66.71. It can be concluded that thematic map learning media has a significant impact on the learning outcomes of Grade XI IPS students at SMAN 113 East Jakarta regarding the distribution of natural disasters in Indonesia.
