Abstract

Penelitian ini dibuat dengan tujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah media digital storytelling pada pembelajaran PPKn materi hak dan kewajiban di kelas IV sekolah dasar. Media digital storytelling dikembangkan agar dapat membantu guru memvisualisasikan konsep pelajaran yang masih abstrak, dan untuk membangun empati siswa terhadap orang lain. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R and D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE, yaitu Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, dan Evaluate. Data diperoleh melalui teknik observasi, wawancara dan pemberian kuesioner. Validasi produk dilakukan oleh 3 orang ahli yang terdiri dari 1 orang ahli materi, 1 orang ahli media, dan 1 orang ahli bahasa. Uji coba pengguna melibatkan 27 responden kelas IV di SDN Krukut 01 yang terbagi menjadi tiga tahap yaitu, tahap uji coba one to one dengan 3 siswa, small group dengan 8 siswa, dan field test dengan 16 siswa. Hasil uji validasi para ahli memperoleh skor sebesar 97% dari ahli materi, 93% dari ahli media, dan 92% dari ahli bahasa. Hasil uji coba produk kepada siswa memperoleh skor sebesar 100% untuk tahap one to one, 100% untuk tahap small group, dan 98% untuk tahap field test. Dengan demikian, media digital storytelling yang dikembangkan termasuk dalam kategori “sangat layak” untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. ***** This research was conducted with the aim of developing a digital storytelling media for the teaching of Civics Education on the topic of rights and obligations in fourth-grade elementary school. Digital storytelling media was developed to assist teachers in visualizing abstract lesson concepts and to cultivate empathy among students towards others. The research was carried out using the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model, which stands for Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and questionnaire distribution. Product validation was conducted by three experts, including one content expert, one media expert, and one language expert. User testing involved 27 respondents from the fourth-grade class at SDN Krukut 01, divided into three stages: one-to-one testing with 3 students, small group testing with 8 students, and field testing with 16 students. The validation results from the experts yielded scores of 97% from the content expert, 93% from the media expert, and 92% from the language expert. The student testing results obtained scores of 100% for the one-to-one stage, 100% for the small group stage, and 98% for the field test stage. Thus, the developed digital storytelling media falls into the "very feasible" category for use as a learning tool.
