Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data empirik terkait pemahaman guru terhadap pembelajaran siswa berbakat di sekolah dasar reguler di Depok. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 103 guru yang berasal dari SDN Beji 2, SDN Beji 4, SDN Bojongsari 1, SDN Cipayung 2, SDN Curug 1, SDN Kemirimuka 2, SDN Ratujaya 3, SDN Tanah Baru 2, dan SDN Tapos 1. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kombinasi, dengan kuesioner dan wawancara sebagai alat yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dari para responden. Data diperoleh melalui survei terhadap keseluruhan guru SD reguler di Kota Depok, mengungkapkan bahwa sebanyak 3,9% guru memiliki pemahaman rendah terhadap pembelajaran siswa berbakat, 76,7% memiliki pemahaman sedang terhadap pembelajaran siswa berbakat, dan 19,4% memiliki pemahaman tinggi terhadap pembelajaran siswa berbakat. Meskipun mayoritas guru SD reguler memiliki pemahaman sedang, hasil wawancara menunjukkan bahwa pelayanan pembelajaran untuk siswa berbakat masih belum optimal. Kurangnya optimalisasi penerapan kurikulum berdiferensiasi, kurangnya variasi strategi pembelajaran, dan kekurangan beragamnya jenis evaluasi menjadi beberapa temuan yang menonjol. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan peningkatan kualitas pelayanan pembelajaran siswa berbakat di SD reguler Kota Depok. ***** This study aims to obtain empirical data related to teachers' understanding of gifted students' learning in regular primary schools in Depok. The sample in this study was 103 teachers from SDN Beji 2, SDN Beji 4, SDN Bojongsari 1, SDN Cipayung 2, SDN Curug 1, SDN Kemirimuka 2, SDN Ratujaya 3, SDN Tanah Baru 2, and SDN Tapos 1. The approach in this study used a combination approach, with questionnaires and interviews as the tools used to collect data from the respondents. Data obtained through a survey of all regular primary school teachers in Depok City revealed that 3.9% of teachers have a low understanding of gifted learning, 76.7% have a medium understanding of gifted learning, and 19.4% have a high understanding of gifted learning. Although the majority of regular primary school teachers have a moderate understanding, the interview results show that learning services for gifted students are still not optimal. The lack of optimisation of the implementation of the differentiated curriculum, the lack of variety of learning strategies, and the lack of diverse types of evaluation are some of the prominent findings. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the quality of learning services for gifted students in regular primary schools in Depok City
