Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran MONIKA (Monopoli Interaksi Desa dan Kota) terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materi interaksi desa dan kota kelas XII IPA MAN 9 Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimen. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode Purposive Sampling atas dasar Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) mata pelajaran geografi dengan nilai 77. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII IPA dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 108 siswa dan sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu kelas XII IPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media pembelajaran MONIKA. Kelas XII IPA 1 sebagai kelas kontrol yang menggunakan power point dengan masing-masing kelas berjumlah 36 siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan September – Oktober 2023. Data penelitian ini diperoleh berupa soal pre-test, post-test, dan dokumentasi. Teknik yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data pada penelitian ini yaitu uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas, dan Uji independent sample T test.. Kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata dari 66,14 menjadi 81,86. Sedangkan peroleha n kelas kontrol dari 65 menjadi 74,29. Kesimpulan ini juga didukung dengan perolehan nilai Sig. pada uji independent sample T test sebesar 0,008 yang berarti H₀ ditolak dan Hₐ diterima dikarenakan nilai Sig. < 0,05. Sehingga terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif kelas XII MAN 9 Jakarta setelah menggunakan media pembelajaran MONIKA pada materi interaksi desa dan kota. **** This study aims to determine the influence of using MONIKA learning media (Monopoly of Village and City Interaction) on the cognitive learning outcomes of students in the subject of village and city interaction for twelfth-grade science students at MAN 9 Jakarta. The sampling technique in this research utilizes the Purposive Sampling method based on the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) for geography subjects, with a homogeneous score of 77. The population consists of twelfth-grade science students, totaling 108 students. The research samples include XII IPA 2 as the experimental class, using MONIKA learning media, and XII IPA 1 as the control class, utilizing PowerPoint for learning, with each class comprising 36 students. The research was conducted in September – October 2023. Data for this study were obtained through pre-tests, post-tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques involve validity testing, reliability testing, normality testing, homogeneity testing, and independent sample T-test. The experimental class experienced a significant improvement in learning outcomes, with an average score increasing from 66.14 to 81.86. Meanwhile, the control class's scores increased from 65 to 74.29. This conclusion is supported by the Sig. value in the independent sample T-test, which is 0.008, indicating rejection of H₀ and acceptance of Hₐ because Sig. < 0.05. Therefore, there is an enhancement in the cognitive learning outcomes of twelfth-grade students at MAN 9 Jakarta after using MONIKA learning media in the subject of village and city interaction.
