Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis – jenis kecenderungan neurotik dalam film Deux Jours, Une Nuit Karya Jean Pierre Dardenne dan Luc Dardenne. Teori utama yang digunakan sebagai acuan adalah tiga jenis kecenderungan neurotik menurut teori kepribadian yang dikemukakan oleh Horney (2010) yang terdiri dari mendekati orang lain, melawan orang lain, menjauhi orang lain. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode analisis isi dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu metode simak dan teknik catat yang mengacu pada teori yang dikemukakan oleh Mahsun (2014). Setelah data dikumpulkan, data dilakukan analisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data menurut Miles dan Hubermen (2020) yaitu reduksi data (data reduction), penyajian data (data display), dan penarikan kesimpulan. Prosedur pada penelitian ini diawali dengan menentukan fokus penelitian, setelah ditemukan fokus penelitian, dilakukan pencarian terhadap teori-teori yang relevan dengan fokus penelitian. Selanjutnya, dilanjutkan dengan menonton sumber data dan mengumpulkan data dari sumber data yang berupa film berjudul Deux Jours, Une Nuit. Setelah data sudah terkumpul, dilakukan analisis dengan mengacu pada teori yang relevan. Yang terakhir hasil analisis data dipaparkan dan menarik kesimpulan dari hasil analisis tersebut. Hasil penelitian jenis kecenderungan neurotik menurut Horney (2010) yang ditemukan dalam film Deux Jours, Une Nuit ini terdapat tiga puluh (30) data dalam bentuk dialog atau percakapan yang mengindikasikan adanya jenis jenis kecenderungan neurotik. Secara rinci, didapatkan dua puluh (20) dialog yang menunjukan adanya kecenderungan neurotik mendekati orang lain. Kemudian terdapat tujuh (7) dialog yang menunjukan adanya kecenderungan neurotik melawan orang lain, dan terakhir terdapat tiga (3) dialog yang menunjukan adanya jenis kecenderungan neurotik menjauhi orang lain. The main theory used as a reference is the three types of neurotic tendencies according to the personality theory proposed by Karen Horney (2010) which consists of approaching others, fighting others, moving away from others. The research method used is a qualitative content analysis method using data collection techniques, namely the listening method and the recording technique which refers to the theory proposed by Mahsun (2014). After the data was collected, the data was analyzed using data analysis techniques according to theory by Miles and Hubermen (2020), namely data reduction, data presentation (data display), and drawing conclusions. The procedure in this research includes began with determining the focus of the research, after the research focus is found, a search is carried out for theories relevant to the focus. Furthermore, it is continued by watching data sources and collecting data from data sources which is a film called Deux jours, une nuit. Furthermore, after the data has been collected, an analysis is carried out with reference to the relevant theory. And finally the results of data analysis are presented and draw conclusions from the results of the analysis. The results of this research on types of The results of this research on the types of neurotic tendencies according to Horney (2010) found in the film Deux Jours, Une Nuit, there are thirty (30) data in the form of dialogue or conversation which indicate the existence of types of neurotic tendencies. In detail, twenty (20) dialogues were obtained which showed a neurotic tendency to approach other people. Then there are seven (7) dialogues which show a neurotic tendency towards other people, and finally there are three (3) dialogues which show a type of neurotic tendency to stay away from other people.
