Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal bilangan pada peserta didik hambatan intelektual kelas V di SLB Dian Kahuripan melalui media video pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas dengan model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan yaitu: perencanaan, tindakan dan pengamatan, serta refleksi. Subjek penelitian yaitu peserta didik hambatan intelektual yang berjumlah 2 orang. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Data yang digunakan yaitu data kualitatif berupa hasil pengamatan, wawancara serta dokumentasi, dan data kuantitatif yang berupa hasil tes. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil tes kemampuan awal mengenal bilangan menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh kedua peserta didik belum mencapai nilai kriteria ketuntasan minimal dengan memperoleh nilai rata-rata yaitu 43. Setelah dilakukan tindakan siklus I dan II, kemampuan mengenal bilangan peserta didik mengalami peningkatan nilai rata-rata sebesar 43,5. Hasil tes kemampuan peserta didik pada evaluasi siklus II telah mencapai nilai kriteria ketuntasan minimal dengan memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 86,5. Hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media video pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal bilangan pada peserta didik hambatan intelektual. ***** The purpose of this research was to improve the ability to recognize numbers 1 to 5 of fifth grade students with intellectual disabilities at SLB Dian Kahuripan through video-based learning. The research used the Classroom Action Research method, with a design based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, consisting of three stages: 1) planning; 2) action and observation; and 3) reflection. The subjects of this research were two students with intellectual disabilities. This research was conducted in two cycles. This research used qualitative and quantitative data. The qualitative data was collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. The quantitative data was collected through evaluation test results. The data validity in this research was ensured through data source triangulation and techniques. The result of the pre-test showed that both students did not achieve the minimum passing grade, with an average score of 43. After taking action in the first and second cycles, the number recognition skills of the students improved, with the average score increasing to 43,5. The evaluation test results in the second cycle showed that both students had reached the minimum passing grade by obtaining an average score of 86,5. The results of the research showed that video-based learning could improve the number-recognition skills of students with intellectual disabilities.
