Abstract

***** The lack of learning resources and inaccurate understanding of animated video teaching materials used in science learning activities, especially the material of plant body parts and photosynthesis events and their functions. This teaching material is in the form of animated videos so that with the internet network it can be easily accessed in any learning situation. This study aims to develop Problem Based Learning-based animated video teaching materials on the material of plant body parts and photosynthesis events and their functions in Class IV elementary schools. This type of research is research and development that adopts the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, 5) Evaluation. The data collection instruments used interviews, and questionnaires. The expert appraisal process was carried out on three experts, namely material, media and language. The results of the three experts are as follows: 1) material experts 94% very feasible; 2) media experts 96% very feasible; 3) language experts 82.5% very feasible. The development testing process was carried out in three stages, namely one to one, small group, and field test. The results of the three stages show a very feasible category for use in learning, namely: 1) one to one 80.625%, 2) small group 91.4%, 3) field test 89.3%.
