Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil penilaian motif kontemporer pada desain busana pesta siang untuk remaja. Penilaian ini dilakukan menggunakan teori estetika menurut Djelantik melalui Panelis ahli. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan merupakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain Pre-Experimental (one-shot case study), dan menggunakan variabel tunggal yaitu penilaian motif kontemporer pada desain busana pesta siang untuk remaja. Indikator penilaian pada penelitian ini meliputi: aspek wujud atau rupa meliputi penerapan unsur desain dan prinsip desain, aspek bobot atau isi meliputi gagasan ide (konsep desain), dan aspek penampilan atau penyajian meliputi media desain tiga dimensi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini dengan menyebarkan angket kuesioner melalui 5 panelis. Hasil perolehan data dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa penilaian motif kontemporer pada desain busana pesta siang untuk remaja berdasarkan aspek wujud atau rupa mendapatkan nilai sebesar 82,3%, penilaian berdasarkan aspek bobot atau isi mendapatkan nilai sebesar 84% dan penilaian berdasarkan aspek penampilan atau penyajian mendapatkan nilai sebesar 91,2%. Secara umum estetika desain busana pesta siang untuk remaja dengan motif kontemporer mendapatkan hasil rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 85,88% sehingga berada pada kategori “sangat baik”. Dengan demikian melalui penelitian desain busana pesta siang untuk remaja dengan motif kontemporer ini dapat menjadi salah satu sumber ilmu mengenai penerapan motif kontemporer pada busana pesta. This research aims to determine the aesthetic assessment of daytime party clothing designs for teenagers with contemporary motifs. This assessment was carried out using aesthetic theory according to Djelantik through expert panelists.The research methodology used is a quantitative method with a Pre-Experimental (one-shot case study, and uses a single variable, namely the aesthetic assessment of afternoon party fashion designs for teenagers with contemporary motifs. The assessment indicators in this research include: form or appearance aspects including the application of design elements and design principles , the weight or content aspect includes ideas (design concepts), and the appearance or presentation aspect includes three-dimensional design media. The data collection technique used in this research was by distributing questionnaires to 5 panelists. The results of data obtained from this research state that the aesthetic assessment of afternoon party fashion designs for teenagers with contemporary motifs based on the form or appearance aspect received a score of 82.3%, the assessment based on the weight or content aspect received a score of 84% and the assessment based on the appearance or presentation aspect got a score of 91.2%. In general, the aesthetic design of afternoon party clothing for teenagers with contemporary motifs received an overall average result of 85.88% so it was in the "very good" category. Thus, through research on afternoon party clothing designs for teenagers with contemporary motifs, this can become a source of knowledge regarding the application of contemporary motifs to party clothing.
