Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan media video pembelajaran Mekanika Teknik 1. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan yang sedang mengambil mata kuliah Mekanika Teknik 1 pada tahun akademik 2023/2024, dengan sampel penelitian 87 mahasiswa. Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket dan tes hasil belajar. Pengambilan data dilakukan sesuai sintaks pembelajaran terdapat dua treatment yang berbeda dengan model pembelajaran flipped classroom. Perbedaanya saat pengerjaan soal pretest, treatment pertama mengerjakan di rumah, sedangkan treatment kedua me ngerjakan di kelas. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menghitung rata-rata hasil pretest dan posttest, dan menjumlahkan hasil angket responden mahasiswa mengenai persepsi terhadap penyajian materi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan video pembelajaran perlu diperbaiki terlebih dahulu untuk diterapkan pada proses pembelajaran. Walaupun hasil persepsi mahasiswa pada penyajian materi termasuk kategori sangat baik dan baik, serta hasil rata-rata pretest dan posttest temasuk kriteria hasil belajar “baik”. Tetapi berdasarkan masukan dari mahasiswa bahwa video tersebut masih terdapat kekurangan disetiap pertemuannya. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan, bahwa untuk kesempurnaan pada proses pembelajaran mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Mekanika Teknik di program studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan Universitas Negeri Jakarta, perlu diperbaiki terlebih dahulu video tersebut agar pembelajaran dapat berjalan dengan baik. Kata Kunci: Persepsi, Video Pembelajaran, Hasil Belajar, Mekanika Teknik 1 This research aims to determine students' perceptions of the use of Engineering Mechanics 1 learning video media. The research population is Building Engineering Education students who are taking the Engineering Mechanics 1 course in the 2023/2024 academic year, with a research sample of 87 students. The research method uses quantitative descriptive with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires and learning outcomes tests. Data collection was carried out according to the learning syntax, there are two different treatments with the flipped classroom learning model. The difference is that when working on the pretest questions, the first treatment is done at home, while the second treatment is done in class. Data analysis uses quantitative descriptive by calculating the average of pretest and posttest results, and adding up the results of student respondents' questionnaires regarding perceptions of the presentation of the material. The research results show that students' perceptions of the use of learning videos need to be improved first to be applied to the learning process. Although the results of students' perceptions of the presentation of the material are in the very good and good categories, the average results of the pretest and posttest are included in the criteria for "good" learning outcomes. However, based on input from students, the video still has shortcomings in each meeting. Based on these results, it can be concluded that for perfection in the student learning process in the Engineering Mechanics course in the Building Engineering Education study program, Jakarta State University, the video needs to be repaired first so that learning can run well.
