Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kegiatan literasi membaca dan menulis bagi peserta didik dengan hambatan intelektual di kelas VI di SKh YKDW 01 Kota Tangerang serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kegiatan literasi membaca dan menulis bagi siswa tunagrahita ringan kels VI di SKh YKDW 01 Tangerang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, koordinator kurikulum, dan guru kelas. Data yang digali dalam penelitian ini adalah tentang kegiatan literasi membaca dan menulis bagi siswa tunargita rngan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif oleh Miles dan Huberman dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil peneltiian menunjukkan bahwa proses kegiatan literasi membaca mencakup membaca cerita sederhana, pengenalan huruf dan kata, dan pengenalan kalimat sederhana,. Adapaun untuk kegiatan literasi menulis yaitu menulis kata dan kalimat sederhana. Ketidakhadiran guru, suasana kelas yang tidak kondusif serta kondisi perasaan siswa yang mudah berubah menjadi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi dalam kegiatan literasi membaca dan menulis. ***** This research aims to describe reading and writing literacy activities for students with intellectual disabilities in class VI at SKh YKDW 01 Tangerang City as well as the factors that influence reading and writing literacy activities for students with mild intellectual disabilities in class VI at SKh YKDW 01 Tangerang. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data sources in this research are the school principal, curriculum coordinator, and class teacher. The data explored in this research is about reading and writing literacy activities for students with hearing impairments. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. Data were analyzed using an interactive model by Miles and Huberman with stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the process of reading literacy activities includes reading simple stories, recognizing letters and words, and introducing simple sentences. As for writing literacy activities, namely writing simple words and sentences. The absence of teachers, a classroom atmosphere that is not conducive and students' moods that easily change are factors that influence reading and writing literacy activities.
