Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji Peran Kepala Sekolah Dalam Menerapkan Komunikasi Efektif di Sekolah Dasar Persatuan Islam Matraman Jakarta Timur. Sekolah Dasar Islam memiliki karakteristik unik yang membutuhkan pendekatan khusus dalam manajemen dan komunikasi untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan Islam yang diinginkan. Fokus penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi strategi komunikasi yang diterapkan oleh kepala sekolah, kendala yang dihadapi, dan dampaknya terhadap pengembangan nilai-nilai keislaman dan pendidikan di sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Partisipan penelitian melibatkan kepala sekolah, guru, dan orang tua siswa di Sekolah Dasar Persatuan Islam Matraman Jakarta Timur sebagai sampel penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah memiliki peran sentral dalam memfasilitasi komunikasi efektif di lingkungan Sekolah Dasar Islam. Strategi yang diterapkan melibatkan penggunaan nilai-nilai keislaman sebagai dasar komunikasi, penyelenggaraan kegiatan-kegiatan keagamaan, dan kerjasama yang erat dengan komunitas Islam setempat. Kendala yang dihadapi melibatkan tantangan dalam mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai keislaman dengan kurikulum pendidikan nasional dan berbagai perbedaan pandangan di masyarakat. Dampak dari komunikasi efektif yang diterapkan oleh kepala sekolah di Sekolah Dasar Persatuan Islam Matraman Jakarta Timur adalah terciptanya lingkungan pendidikan yang menciptakan kader-kader Islam yang berkualitas dan berakhlak mulia. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman lebih lanjut tentang peran kepala sekolah dalam mengelola Sekolah Dasar Islam. Hasil penelitian juga diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi pengembangan strategi manajemen dan komunikasi efektif dalam konteks pendidikan Islam di Indonesia. ***** This research aims to examine the role of the principal in implementing effective communication at the Islamic Association of Matraman Islamic Elementary School. Islamic Primary Schools have unique characteristics that require a special approach in management and communication to achieve the desired goals of Islamic education. The focus of this research is to identify the communication strategies implemented by school principals, the obstacles faced, and their impact on the development of Islamic values and education in schools. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation and document analysis. The research participants involved the principal, teachers and parents of students at the Islamic Union of Matraman Islamic Elementary School as the research sample. The research results show that the principal has a central role in facilitating effective communication in the Islamic elementary school environment. The strategy implemented involves using Islamic values as a basis for communication, organizing religious activities, and close collaboration with the local Islamic community. The obstacles faced involve challenges in integrating Islamic values with the national education curriculum and various differences in views in society. The impact of effective communication implemented by the principal at the Matraman Islamic Union Islamic Elementary School is the creation of an educational environment that creates qualified Islamic cadres with noble morals. It is hoped that this research can contribute to further understanding of the role of school principals in managing Islamic Elementary Schools. It is also hoped that the research results can become a reference for developing effective management and communication strategies in the context of Islamic education in Indonesia.
