Abstract

UNESCO (The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) menetapkan bahasa Indonesia sebagai salah satu bahasa resmi UNESCO. Hal ini menjadikan bahasa Indonesia mendapatkan panggung yang lebih besar dalam mempromosikan keberagaman bahasa dan budaya dan dapat meningkatkan citra dan daya tarik bahasa tersebut bagi mereka yang tertarik mempelajarinya. Tingginya minat orang asing untuk belajar bahasa Indonesia harus diapresiasi positif dan didukung dengan perangkat pembelajaran yang memadai dan menunjang kemampuan berbahasa penutur asing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model bahan ajar Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing (BIPA) bermuatan budaya Betawi melalui multimedia interaktif. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development) menggunakan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). Dua data, kualitatif dan kuantitatif, dalam penelitian diperoleh melalui wawancara, kuesioner, dan tes. Kelayakan bahan ajar diperoleh dari validasi pakar and persepsi pembelajar terhadap bahan ajar pada uji coba skala kecil. Untuk melihat efektifitas bahan ajar digunakan penghitungan menggunakan One-Group PreTest-PostTest Design. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data ditemukan bahwa: 1) bahan ajar dikembangkan berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan pembelajar dan pengajar, 2) sistematika bahan ajar terdiri dari lima komponen; Menu Awal, Menu ‘Identitas Bahan Ajar BIPA’, Menu Peta Kompetensi, Menu Prawacana, dan Menu Bahan Ajar. 3) hasil penilaian ahli media menghasilkan rata-rata secara keseluruhan aspek bahan ajar sebesar 4,3 atau 84,9 %. Ini berarti bahwa ahli media menilai bahan ajar yang dikembangkan sudah ‘Baik”, dan 5) hasil pengujian menggunakan paired sample t-test didapatkan nilai Sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan berbahasa Indonesia pada data pre-test dan data post-test. Dari hasil analisis data ini, didapatkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan atau nyata dari data pre-test dan data post-test sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan bahan ajar BIPA Tingkat Dasar bermuatan budaya Betawi dalam Bentuk Multimedia Interaktif yang diberikan mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa Indonesia pemelajar penutur asing pada kompetensi mendengar, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis Bahasa Indonesia. Indonesian was designated as the official language of UNESCO (The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. With official status as one of UNESCO's official languages, Indonesian gets a bigger stage in promoting linguistic and cultural diversity and can improve the image and attractiveness of the language for those who are interested in learning it. The high interest of foreigners in learning languages must be positively appreciated and supported by adequate learning tools that support the language skills of foreign speakers. This study aims to develop teaching materials for foreign speakers (BIPA) containing Betawi culture through interactive multimedia. The approach used in this study is research and development (research and development). The research and development used in developing teaching materials in this study uses the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). Two data, qualitative and quantitative, in this study were obtained through observation, questionnaires and tests. To see the effectiveness of teaching materials used calculations using OneGroup PreTest-PostTest Design. Based on the results of data analysis it was found that: 1) teaching materials were developed based on an analysis of the needs of students and lecturers, 2) the systematics of teaching materials consisted of five components; Initial feature, 'Identity of BIPA Teaching Materials' feature, Competency Map feature, Pre-Discourse feature, and Teaching Materials feature. 3) the results of the media expert's assessment resulted in an overall average of the teaching material aspects of 4.3 or 84.9%. This means that media experts assess the teaching materials developed as 'good', and 5) the test results using the paired sample t-test obtained a Sig.(2-tailed) value of 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that there is a difference significant difference between Indonesian language skills in the pre-test data and post-test data. From the results of this data analysis, it was found that there were significant or significant differences from the pre-test data and post-test data so that it could be concluded that the use of Betawi culture-based BIPA Elementary Level teaching materials in the form of Interactive Multimedia provided was able to improve the Indonesian language skills of speaking students foreigners in the competence of listening, speaking, reading, and writing Indonesian.
