Abstract

Kondisi ideal orang tua terhadap kegiatan belajar anak yaitu memberikan perhatian berupa pemberian bimbingan, pengawasan, penghargaan dan hukuman, pemenuhan kebutuhan dan menciptakan suasana belajar yang tenang. Namun pada kenyataannya perhatian orang tua masih kurang optimal sehingga berdampak pada hasil belajar anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan perhatian orang tua dengan dengan hasil belajar PPKn kelas V SDN Kecamatan Cipayung Jakarta Timur. Sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling yang berjumlah 74 peserta didik kelas V. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan metode korelasional. Pengumpulan data berupa angket dan tes menggunakan uji koefisien korelasi dengan Pearson Product Moment dan uji signifikansi korelasi dengan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara perhatian orang tua dengan hasil belajar PPKn. Sedangkan hasil uji koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa perhatian orang tua memberikan kontribusi terhadap hasil belajar PPKn sebesar 26% dan sisanya 74% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Implikasi penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perhatian orang tua dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu alternatif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar PPKn peserta didik. ***** Parents' ideal conditions for children's learning activities are providing attention in the form of guidance, supervision, rewards and punishments, meeting needs and creating a calm learning atmosphere. However, in reality, parents' attention is still less than optimal, which has an impact on children's low learning outcomes. This research aims to determine the relationship between parental attention and PPKn learning outcomes for class V SDN Cipayung District, East Jakarta. The sample used a cluster random sampling technique, totaling 74 class V students. This quantitative research used a correlational method. Data collection took the form of questionnaires and tests using the correlation coefficient test with Pearson Product Moment and the correlation significance test with the t test. The research results show that there is a positive and significant relationship between parental attention and Civics learning outcomes. Meanwhile, the results of the coefficient of determination test show that parental attention contributes to PPKn learning outcomes by 26% and the remaining 74% is influenced by other factors. The implications of the research show that parental attention can be used as an alternative to improve students' Civics learning outcomes.
