Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS melalui model pembelajaran RADEC pada siswa kelas IV A SDN Tanah Tinggi 03 Jakarta Pusat. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui efektivitas tindakan pembelajaran model RADEC dengan indikator keberhasilan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar pada pembelajaran IPS. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV A dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 26 siswa, yang terdiri atas 13 siswa laki-laki dan 13 siswa perempuan. Penelitian dilaksanakan menggunakan model siklus dari Kemmis dan MC. Tagart. Penelitian tindkan kelas dilakukan melalui tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, refleksi. Indikator keberhasilan penelitian apabila 80% siswa mencapai KKTP yaitu 75 dan 80% pencapaian persentase keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan model RADEC. Pada siklus I persentase hasil belajar kognitif siswa sebesar 73%, penelitian belum berhasil. Pada siklus II persentase hasil belajar kognitif siswa mengalami peningkatan menjadi 88%. Instrumen pemantauan tindakan guru dan siswa pada siklus I pertemuan pertama dan kedua menunjukkan persentase 80% dan 83,75%. Pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 87,5% pada pertemuan pertama, dan 90% pada pertemuan kedua. Penerapan model pembelajaran RADEC dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar karena berpusat pada siswa dan melibatkan siswa secara aktif dalam pengalaman belajarnya memahami materi pelajaran. Kata kunci: Hasil belajar IPS, Model pembelajaran RADEC ***** This classroom action research aims to improve social studies learning outcomes through the RADEC learning model for students in class IV A SDN Tanah Tinggi 03 Central Jakarta. This study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of RADEC model learning actions with the success indicator of an increase in learning outcomes in social studies learning. The subjects of this study were students of class IV A with a total of 26 students, consisting of 13 boys and 13 girls. The research was conducted using the cycle model of Kemmis and MC. Tagart. Classroom action research is conducted through the stages of planning, implementation, observation, reflection. The indicator of success of the research is if 80% of students reach KKTP which is 75 and 80% of the achievement of the percentage of learning implementation with the RADEC model. In cycle I the percentage of students' cognitive learning outcomes was 73%, the research was not successful. In cycle II the percentage of students' cognitive learning outcomes increased to 88%. Teacher and student action monitoring instruments in cycle I first and second meetings showed a percentage of 80% and 83.75%. In cycle II it increased to 87.5% at the first meeting, and 90% at the second meeting. The application of the RADEC learning model can be used as one way to improve social studies learning outcomes of grade IV elementary school students because it is student-centered and involves students actively in their learning experience to understand the subject matter.
