Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan Science Environment Technology and Society terhadap sikap ilmiah dalam pembelajaran IPAS kelas IV SD di Kecamatan Jatinegara, Jakarta Timur. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas IV di SDN yang berada di Kecamatan Jatinegara, Jakarta Timur yang terdiri dari 52 sekolah. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Cluster Random Sampling yaitu dilakukan dengan memilih salah satu atau beberapa kelompok secara acak melalui pengundian, sehingga terpilihlah sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu SDN Rawa Bunga 12, Kelurahan Rawa Bunga, Jakarta Timur dengan kelas IV A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan IV B sebagai kelas kontrol sebanyak 60 peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama bulan November 2023. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket skala Likert. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji-t, diperoleh dengan hasil thitung sebesar 8,11 > ttabel 1,67 sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1, diterima, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan Science Environment Technology and Society dalam pembelajaran IPAS berpengaruh positif terhadap sikap ilmiah peserta didik kelas IV SD di Kecamatan Jatinegara. Untuk itu, pendekatan Science Environment Technology and Society dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu alternatif pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan sikap ilmiah peserta didik. ***** This study aims to determine the influence of the Science Environment Technology and Society approach on scientific attitudes in learning science grade IV Elementary School in Jatinegara District, East Jakarta. The population in this study is all grade IV students at public elementary schools located in Jatinegara District, East Jakarta consisting of 52 schools. Sampling using the Cluster Random Sampling technique is carried out by randomly selecting one or several groups through a lottery, so that the sample in this study was SDN Rawa Bunga 12, Rawa Bunga Village, East Jakarta with class IV A as an experimental class and IV B as a control class of 60 students. This research will be conducted during November 2023. The method used is an experimental method with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Data collection technique using Likert scale questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using t-tests. Based on the results of the t-test calculation, obtained with a t-t-count result of 8.11 > t-table 1.67 so that H0 is rejected and H1, is accepted, it can be concluded that the application of the Science Environment Technology and Society approach in science learning has a positive effect on the scientific attitude of grade IV elementary school students in Jatinegara District. For this reason, the Science Environment Technology and Society approach can be used as an alternative learning in improving the scientific attitude of students.
