Abstract

*******ABSTRAK*** Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan fungsi konatif ditinjau dari vokatif dan imperatif dalam film Nouveaux Riches Karya Julien Hollande. Teori utama yang digunakan sebagai acuan adalah fungsi konatif menurut teori fungsi bahasa yang digagaskan oleh Jakobson (1963 : 216). Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi diikuti dengan metode simak yang mengacu pada teori milik Zaim (2014 : 89) sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Setelah data dikumpulkan, analisis dilakukan menggunakan metode analisis data yang diusulkan oleh Miles dan Hubermen, yang mencakup kondensasi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Prosedur penelitian ini diawali dengan menentukan fokus penelitian, rumusan masalah, sumber data, teori, penelitian relevan serta metode penelitian. Selanjutnya dilakukan tahap pengumpulan data dengan menonton sumber data dan mengumpulkan data yang didapatkan. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan melakukan analisis terhadap kata, frasa dan kalimat dari sumber data film yang digunakan untuk kemudian diklasifikasikan ke dalam fungsi konatif ditinjau dari vokatif dan imperatif berdasarkan teori utama. Pada tahap akhir dilakukan penulisan hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat 35 data fungsi konatif yang mengacu pada teori Jakobson yang didominasi oleh fungsi konatif ditinjau dari imperatif sebanyak 66% (23 data), dan dilanjutkan dengan fungsi konatif ditinjau dari vokatif sebanyak 34% (12 data). ******ABSTRACT****** The purpose of this research is to describe the conative function in terms of vocative and imperative in the movie Nouveaux Riches by Julien Hollande. The main theory used as a reference is the conative function according to the theory of language function initiated by Jakobson (1963: 216). The approach used is a qualitative approach with a content analysis method followed by a listening method that refers to Zaim's theory (2014: 89) as a data collection technique. After the data is collected, the analysis is conducted using the data analysis method proposed by Miles and Hubermen, which includes data condensation, data presentation, conclusion drawing and verification. This research procedure begins with determining the research focus, problem formulation, data sources, theories, relevant research and research methods. Furthermore, the data collection stage is carried out by watching the data source and collecting the data obtained. Then proceed with analyzing the words, phrases and sentences from the film data sources used to be classified into conative functions in terms of vocative and imperative based on the main theory. In the final stage, the research results were written. The result of this research shows that there are 35 data of conative function referring to Jakobson's theory which is dominated by the conative function in terms of imperative as much as 66% (23 data), and continued with the conative function in terms of vocative as much as 34% (12 data).
