Abstract

Artdo Gryand Failix Sitohang. 2024. Organologi Sarune Etek Buatan Junihar Sitohang. Skripsi. Jakarta : Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni. Universitas Negeri Jakarta. *****ABSTRAK**** Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses kemudian mendeskripsikan pembuatan Sarune Etek buatan Junihar Sitohang serta memperoleh data aktual dan valid tentang organologi Sarune Etek. Organologi yang meliputi aspek fisik yaitu bahan dasar, bentuk, ukuran kontruksi dan cara pembuatan, serta aspek nonfisik yaitu fungsi pada musik, sejarah, serta penyebarannya. Objek penelitian ini adalah Sarune Etek buatan Junihar Sitohang. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskritif. Data yang dimuat merupakan kumpulan hasil studi pustaka, observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan keabsahan data diperoleh melalui triangulasi. Hasil Penelitian ini menguraikan tentang 1) organologi yang meliputi aspek fisik, (a) bahan dasar, (b) bentuk instrumen sarune etek, (c) ukuran kontruksi sarune etek memiliki panjang ukuran sekitar 31cm, (d) proses pembuatan sarune etek. 2) organologi yang meliputi aspek nonfisik, (a) fungsi pada musik sebagai pembawa melodi dalam musik, (b) folklor terciptanya sarune etek yaitu berasal dari perkembangan sarune eme dan sarune buluh, (c) penyebaran alat ini dengan dipentaskan oleh musisi, dikomersilkan hingga mancanegara dan disimpan oleh kolektor. Sarune etek merupakan alat musik asli nusantara yang perlu terus dilestarikan sebagai kekayaan budaya Indonesia. Peneliti berharap karya tulis ini menjadi manfaat bagi semua yang berada dalam ruang lingkup yang bersangkutan dan diharapkan dapat lebih dikembangkan oleh penelitian selanjutnya. Universitas Negeri Jakarta. ****ABSTRACT***** The purpose of this study is to find out the process and then describe the making of Sarune Etek made by Junihar Sitohang and to obtain actual and valid data about the organology of Sarune Etek. Organology includes physical aspects, namely basic materials, shape, construction size and manufacturing method, as well as non-physical aspects, namely the function of musik, history and distribution. The object of this research is Sarune Etek made by Junihar Sitohang. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative research method. The data contained is a collection of the results of literature studies, observations, interviews, documentation and the validity of data obtained through triangulation. The results of this study describe 1) organology which includes physical aspects, (a) basic materials, (b) the form of sarune etek instruments, (c) the size of the construction of sarune etek has a length of about 31cm, (d) the process of making sarune etek. 2) organology which includes nonphysical aspects, (a) the function of musik as a carrier of melody in musik, (b) the folklore for the creation of sarune etek originates from the development of sarune eme and sarune reed, (c) the spread of this instrument by being staged by musikians, commercialized to foreign countries and kept by collectors. Sarune etek is a native musikal instrument of the Nusantara that needs to be preserved as a cultural property of Indonesia. Researchers hope that this paper will be a benefit for all who are within the scope concerned and are expected to be further developed by future research.
